By dominated we're talking roughly 65% or more. I work for a business that is definitely a blue pill corporate environment dominated by more women than men. In fact, there are a few all female departments.

I have a pseudo IT job working in development and support of web applications. By pseudo, i don't work with the formal IT department but a different one that is still program development specific.

Anywho, i've discovered that my red pill ways helped me in a ton of ways. For starters the whole place is vanilla bland. The few men that do work there are either gay (good dudes though) or your typical hipster beta (really annoying).

I've become more bolstered in my red pill ways by this experience and I like it. There is absolutely no one else like me in the office. Since I work with computers, I'm shielded by the typical overcompensating female manager. I also have a lot of flexibility in handling attitudes since i have no debt and don't "fear" losing my job. It makes for standing up to people pretty interesting.

The majority of the people kowtow to my red pill alpha male attitude (i'm far from an alpha male). It's surprisingly easy to navigate this corporate hierarchy. Charm is everything and the attention I get from the ladies in the office is hilarious. Whether young, old, single, dating, or married any friendly and flirty attention they get at the office makes them happy. I was talking to this one lady on the phone calling her hun and sweetheart etc etc. After I finished the guy next to my office came in and asked me who that was. Apparently, the woman i was on the phone with is a die hard feminist that i was unknowingly sweet talking! We're talking like radical feminist here. I didn't get a peep of hostility from her, in fact she was being flirty back.

I also know everyone in HR from just being friendly to people I walk by. I have yet to get in trouble (knock on wood).

Still thinking about joining OCS, but I like all of this free time. If it wasn't for the gym and my buddies outside of the office i'd go crazy.

Any other RVFers out there in a female dominated industry and surviving? It's not as hard as one would think, more annoying at times, but definitely manageable.

I did retail for several years.

It was ok in the beginning but over the years more and more women came in and fewer men.

My last year working there before university it was 3 men to 25ish women. I hated it.

Apart from the two who worked, the rest were lazy, gossip mongers, lazy, entitled and boring. Did I say lazy?

It was made worse by the 3 female managers. One of them had earned the title of manager by sucking off a manager at another place and got the promotion. I am not lying about this either.

She also did a lap dance for a big company executive. He is a real suckup to the women because he couldn't get pussy to save his life as far as I know. However he was a complete twat towards the male members of staff below him. Beta guy using his "status" would irritate anybody.

Women were let off home early, the men were hardly let go early. Men were expected to empty the bins, even if they were not on closing duty and customers were still in the building.

Plenty of times I left the bins and they weren't emptied and left for the next day. The head manager wasn't pleased with the women.

I once had to clean the female toilets with sick on the floor. I asked any of the ten, yes TEN female members of staff on at that very moment to clean it up. The responses were; "if I clean it up Ill add to it", *silence*, "why dont you do it?"

I lost my shit mentally but I had to really restrain my mouth so the only words that slipped out were "typical lazy women". Which didnt earn me brownie points.

I then had to explain to several female customers why the toilets were offlimits for them as a male member of staff cleaned the toilets.

Merely pointed in the direction of my lazy co-workers and I believe stern words were had.

If what you wrote above is true, you are not "far from an alpha male". Only one kind of guy gets away with what you are claiming.

Ya know, I've had people call me gay before. Never really questioned my sexually as I've always been more attracted to boobs than penises. I've been described as non threateningly charming (read GAY), yet when I really start to dig in on people for saying stupid shit especially political crap I get really fired up. I've won arguments against feminists, as in shut them up and kept them quiet.

Here's a another good one:

My favorite story was over hearing about some "guy" that slopped up the kitchen with some powdery drink mix (protein shake) and how there was still milk in the sink. Typical passive aggressive stuff. My bad on making a mess, if they came up to my desk and asked like adults to clean it up then I would have done so. But this was too golden:

I got up and walked into the kitchen where they were standing. I looked at the mess and them and said back,

"Oh dang! I wonder who made this mess!"

And then I proceeded to pour myself a fresh tall glass of milk.

I didn't mean to imply that you're gay. Now that I think of it, there are two kinds of guy who can get away with what you claim. Go ahead and call yourself alpha. You either are or your original post is a lie. Any beta who pulls those stunts is fired.

I think he was giving you a compliment - i.e you are more of an Alpha Male than you think - at least in the context of your work place.

A lot of times office girls (all ages, any woman who works indoors really) bitch and moan about guys "always hitting on them" or "getting hollered at by janitors" but they take personal offense when you straight up ignore them or refuse to date any of them. Their bitching and moaning is just humble bragging to their girlfriends that men still find them desirable.

You'll know that the rumor mill spares no one after you have put on ten or fifteen pounds of muscle, started wearing nice clothes, and the gay rumors hit. As much as girls hate weak game, they hate being ignored more, even though they're fat and not worthy of a man's love.

I don't know if it's illegal to tell people you have been married and divorced (so they'd fuck off), but it would be something I would consider trying. I know some high school sweethearts who have been engaged for something like eight years now, so maybe it would be easier to start wearing an engagement ring even if you have no serious ties.

Nothing wrong with gay rumors at work. It gives you an excuse for just being professional with your female coworkers. You know, you can talk to them and actually get shit that promotes the bottom line and keeps you all employed done.

Nothing like working in an office with girls in the vicinity to illustrate how real life often fails the Bechdel Test.

Conversations between women indeed rarely are about anything other than gossip or fashion, even the women in analytics or the quantitative division.

Just kidding, not even with the full-backing of affirmative action are women able to cut it as quants.

I love this thread already...

I worked at a national retail chain of clothing stores. Most of the time i was 1 of 2 or 3 guys working in the store at the time.
When i got promoted to district visual merchandiser i visited a bunch of stores within my city as well as outside the city.

I must've hooked up with a few store managers here and there. Lots of late nights doing major store changes.
Not too mention the 17yr old high school girls that they employed. (16 is age of consent where i was)

I never heard of managers dropping to their knees for a promotion, but i imagine it could happen.

Being a district visual i could be a dick if i wanted and they could bitch but nothing would happen to me.
