It's fucked up but apparently he snapped because she left him in foster care because of a drug habit and she was beating on his little brother. I just remembered an old thread about some women getting props for killing her abusive husband, she got some award.

Well, this is the South Bronx. I remember the first time I traveled through the area in the mid 90's (by train from Grand Central to CT). It looked like what I imagined London looked like immediately after the Blitz. Seriously bad neighbourhood, with burned out buildings and even whole blocks everywhere. New York has obviously improved a great deal since then. What is the South Bronx like right now?

His younger brother was the one with down syndrome, as I understand it. Obviously this dude has some mental issues as well, but I don't think he has down syndrome.

It's pretty bad. Yankee Stadium is a diamond in the rough being in that area.
