There's this girl that lives in the same city as I do. But she only texts me when we're out of the state or in a far city together. The first time was when I was vacationing in her home city during winter break. I was not there to see her but to do approaches on girls. Out of the blue, she texts me, saying she accidentally did so because she was trying to text someone else with the same letter of the last name. I thought wtf and did not respond. Second time, three months later, we're in another state with a group of friends, and she starts texting how she's glad I'm come and is responsive to my texts. When we come back and I start texting her here, no response. Did I miss a chance to bang her or was she just being friendly? I was hesitant to escalate during this last time because I was very confused by her hot/cold responses to me. Yes, she has a boyfriend(and I think a sidepiece who I know) which I'm pretty sure is the main reason. I try not to actively pursue her because I don't want to be a third string quarterback, but she bothers me with her texts. What should I do? It's very hard for me to switch from "on" to "off" like that. This situation distresses me like a beta male, lol. And she is pretty hot(a solid 8), i mean, er...interesting person.
