Hey, relatively new to game, and I've run into this problem alot:

I approach a group of girls, open them and they're receptive and talkative. However, the 6 ends up giving me alot more attention than the hotter ones. Since the hot ones don't have that cock-block instinct, they essentially cut themselves out so that their friend can do her thing.

I'd thought that talking to other girls in the group might make the one's I'm after jealous, but in a bar they're constantly getting approached anyway, so I have to do more than just talk to their friend to build attraction/jealousy.

So how to keep DHVing to the others when the 6 immediately jumps on you like a puppy?

short answer: Get better clothes, hit the gym, change yourself to increase your value.

long answer: The 6 gives you attention because you are in her attainable category (means she thinks you are slightly better looking/higher value than her- so possibly 6-8 ) while the 8's and up know that your value is lower so they dont go for you. If you were a 9+ in their eyes (not just looks, this could be preselection, social groups, clothing, etc) the 6's would feel underqualified and wouldn't talk to you while the 8's and up would be in your range.

AAAAAND the girls give the 6' a shot due the fact that not many man come across her. They see the other girl a litte bit desperate for your attention and go away in order to do not compete with someone who has no chance to win. Women compete among themselves, sure, but they like equality, a "fair" situation. Put your standars even higher to see the difference.

I've been cockblocked by the hotter girls in the group. Happens all the time. I see a 6 and a 7, talk with them both, the 6 has a better personality. I decide to game her, and the 7 gets jealous and takes her friend to the bathroom.

I've also taken the hotter girl out of a group as well, because I hooked up the uglier girl with my wingman.

I do not see any definite patterns. I do not think the 6 necessarily goes for you because you are more in her "league". That's not true. Just last weekend I had a same night lay with a 7; she was all over me straight from the opener, when usually I only get that kind of attention from 6's and below (7 and up I have to work for).

Given the disparity in responses, my conclusion is: don't jump to any conclusions. Sometimes they are into you, sometimes they are not. Sometimes the uglier girl in the set wants you, and sometimes its the hotter one. Usually the uglier one but it's still just odds.

If you haven't found a girl you want, keep opening more groups. If I wanted an 8 in the group, but could only get the 6, I'd tell the 6 I "need to get back to my friends" and grab her number before leaving. Then I'd resume looking for an 8 in different groups. It's a mistake to try and go for one specific girl in a bar setting.

What I'm really looking for is:

When in set, how can you take attention from one girl and use it to get the attention of the other girl?

I know long term self-improvement is the best way to be more attractive, physically and socially.

I know I can move on to a different set and try again.

Just hoping someone has a specific idea about this specific situation.

Yeah this used to happen to me a lot. Tighten up your game, increase your value like another guy said, and the hotter ones will start giving you more love. The 6 will then do the fade away.
