Yep. That was probably covered up big time. No one wants impressionable young men questioning why serial killers and men otherwise considered undesirable by society earn such adulation.

These weren't all gutter girls either. The one second from the left Sandra Good grew up in a wealthy part of San Diego. He father was an attorney. She doesn't look as great here, but she was really good looking.

The one next to Good (to her left) is Cathy Gillies. She came from money too. Not too shabby here.

The one on the far right, I believe, is Diane Lake. She really was a hippie and probably the best looking of these followers.

Anyway, a homeless guy about 5-3, had complete control over 30 plus girls -- many of them 7s or up. They would do anything for him. Hell, he talked a girl, Leslie Van Houten, who was a homecoming queen two years earlier into helping massacre nine people.

At one point during Manson's trial. About a dozen of his women crawled on their hands and knees from downtown, down Wilshire, to the Fairfax district or about 7 miles just to show support.

Rodney Alcala won the dating game but to her credit, the lucky lady declined to go out with him because she thought he was "creepy" One of the few times that word was used correctly.

One of the Menendez brothers got married in jail.

I had a college roommate who cheated on tests, advocated giving AIDS to gays and genocide against blacks and was generally a bad person. He was tall, not bad looking, and well built. Tremendous self confidence, really arrogance. Chicks could not leave him alone. In class, in the dining hall, walking on campus, all the time he got looks, girls walked up and handed him their number, hit on him, propositioned him, whatever.

The Dark Triad of narcissism, psychopathy, and Machiavellianism is a trifecta that can lead one to the top of hierarchies. Women know that's the guy who will have the money and power so they go for him. Some can't tell the difference between Charlie Manson and Donald Trump due to flawed wiring.
