RE: Iceland
Speaking of increased flights to Iceland, it's about to get marginally worse with WOW Air now flying out of JFK Airport in New York. It currently only flies out of nearby Newark airport, which while not too unknown of a place, certainly has a lower profile than JFK.

WOW air, the ultra-affordable airline and best thing to come out of Iceland since Björk, will begin flying out of the New York airport on April 27. En hvað er meira! To celebrate the service launch, the airline is offering some truly killer flight deals.

Starting today, one-way fares from JFK to Iceland are available at wowair.us for a mere $99, and you can grab $149 tickets to London, Paris and Amsterdam. The airline, which already operates out of Newark, is also offering $149 tickets from that airport to Berlin, Paris and Amsterdam.

“We are excited by the success of our Newark Liberty International Airport partnership and are looking forward to offering New Yorkers more flight options with John F. Kennedy International Airport,” said Skúli Mogensen, founder and CEO of WOW air. “As always, our goal is to make travel more affordable and accessible providing high-value to those looking to expand their horizons through traveling the world.”

Eh it's not that big of a difference. Both are in the top ten busiest airports in America and are less than an hour from each other. I'll give JFK is slightly more popular and busy, but it's really a very small margin.

As far back as I could remember, I always wanted to be a player.

So are most Hotels and Apartments there ok with you bringing a 'visitor' back to you room? A few I've emailed have said they don't allow it.
Are there any specific recommended Hotels/apartmens that members have stayed in?

Camper van my dude. Road trip around the most beautiful country on the planet and inject some life back into the camping lifestyle. It has become infested with asexual granola-eating "photographers." Steal someone's girl or bring your own. Hot chocolate in the morning, squeaky axles in the evening. Delicious hot dogs for every meal. Fun!

Any site you recommend to get a camper van?

Try looking at booking.com. I found a great apartment there located right on Austurstræti. It wasn't cheap but you'll probably have better logistics than the vast majority of tourist girls you run into. I've already written about how to approach girls who are visiting.

RE: Iceland
WOW Air went out of business today and ceased operations. Bankruptcy...all flights cancelled.

Was a rather shitty airline, but a proper LCC and a very cheap way to get to Iceland from both Europe and North America.

No more!

RE: Iceland
And just like that, all the annoying American girls who had no idea where Iceland was before their friend said they should “do” it are gone

RE: Iceland
Yeah, WOW Air's demise will certainly reduce some of the American contingent (especially people not on the east coast). However, I don't think the high levels of tourism in Iceland will go away any time soon.
