The school district sued by Brian Banks' false accuser is suing for the money back.

She has spent all of it and she is receiving public assistance.

However, it is symbolic that the bad economy led the district to go after her if only to say "Don't mess with our funds."

Don't men get thrown into prison for failure to pay (exorbitant) child support? Seems like a good starting point for this situation.

Hell, tax dollars are already being wasted on her via public assistance so you just need to redirect it to funding her (lifelong) prison sentence. Net benefit to society!

How does someone even burn through $750,000...

How does someone even burn through $750,000...

Just look at how male athletes burn through millions in a few years. That's your answer right there. If an athlete can go broke after making $110 Million, that woman who probably was never the brighest bulb, can easily burn $750K in a few years.

Hidden gem in this article. Poor people are usually poor for a reason. I don't buy all the bullshit blank slate, racism, sexism excuses that are thrown around.

False accuser ordered to pay back settlement, interest, legal fees, and punitive damages.

Perhaps we shouldn't make too much of this. It may be a case where a system, schools, that provide educational and babysitting services for many women is being favored over one woman.

I don't agree with the court. The school system & legal system weren't victims or defrauded - they defrauded themselves by so willingly believing a black athlete was a rapist on just an accusation.

Banks made some tackles in his preseason debut with the Atlanta Falcons.

He had this to say about making the team, which is a long shot for him:

So let me get this straight:

Black dude is so good at football, USC gives him a scholarship.

A hood rat he knew in high school falsely accuses him of rape.

Courts believe her because A) she's a woman and B) the accused is black

Hood rat sues high school for 'failing to protect' her. Hood rat wins 750,000 dollars in claim.

Hood rat's accusation later is proven to be false, but only after:

-Black dude has lost his scholarship
-Black dude been in jail for 5 years
-Hood rat spends 750,000, becomes a single mother, and goes on public assistance.


These are the kind of people breeding the most. - Worthless

Banks is set to be released by the Falcons, but owner Arthur Blank is trying to find him a job on the team.

Banks has been through more than most of us, he has a spine of solid steel and the Falcons recognize that.

If he was wrongfully convicted I imagine he'd be entitled to some form of compensation. The fact he took a plea deal probably throws that out the window...
