Is the Asanebo you guys are talking about some strip center joint off of ventura blvd?

Sounds familiar and I went there once and the fish quality was top notch. This was around six years ago when Katsuya was really big, and I was in a group headed there and all of a sudden the driver decided to stop at this strip center dive. I thought he was being a cheapass, but the sushi there was among the freshest I've had.

How has nobody mentioned Maine lobster yet? Go down to the docks when the boats come in and you can get them for under $10 a piece.

#1 seafood ever is Bering Sea king crab.

Ceviche in Lima, Peru and Bacalao somewhere in Portugal.
