In Australia: Woman kills her partner and then gets no sentence.

Lena Kasparian, 33, admitted to stabbing Marc Zartarian at their home at Wetherill Park in south-west Sydney on May 1 last year, but pleaded not guilty to murdering him

The mother of the murdered man declared:

“He was a beautiful young man … he loved life, he loved kids."

“Its not fair that a 33-year-old, a young handsome boy be under the ground and she walk scot-free.”


When asked if Ms. Zartarian felt responsible for Mr Zartarian’s death, she replied: “No.”

Stabbed in heart

The jury of nine women and three men heard that a kitchen knife entered Mr Zartarian’s chest, causing a stab wound, which damaged his heart.

The jury was played a recording of the call. “He’s fine, it’s just a small stab wound,” Ms Kasparian said.

“Yes, I stabbed him” she told police.

Mr Zartarian died in hospital on May 6, 2011 after suffering a brain injury caused by loss of oxygen following the stabbing.

The idea with testing the jury is a good idea, also always should be at least 45% male jurors.

I'm not a fan of civilian jurys at all. It scares me that some wacko who digests nothing but tabloids could be called upon to sit in a murder one jury

Google "Zartarian" and you will find a lot of details about this. The woman killer showed no pity and no remorse.

This story is actually getting worse. She is now attempting to claim some sort of death claim. They were together for 5 months and she is trying to get 133,000 out of his insurance. She also claims he was drunk and hitting her with a frying pan.

Australian woman kills her 2 kids in alberta and gets a measly 2 1/2 year sentence. Not even in jail though, a hospital.

but she wants the money from his insurance too,

I saw another article a few years ago about a woman (again in Australia) who laid in wait for her husband in the bushes and when he came by, shot him with a shotgun. in cold blood.

Yes probably. Because she cried in front of the judges and jury and explained that she was "offended" by him and she had to do it. And cried for few more minutes and then she walked free
