So I was originally going to be posted in Riga, Latvia for a year starting in August, but this recently got changed to Wellington, New Zealand.

I've been told its a great place to live and there's a million things to do outdoors, but the women are average at best and really aren't much to write home about.

I wanted to see if anyone has been there recently and what their opinion is on the women, nightlife, and generally living there for an extended period of time?

Trust me, I'm about as disappointed as you are that Im not going to Latvia anymore

Kiwis are cool, there country sounds really beautiful, unfortunately their women are not. Every Kiwi girl I met traveling was literally a "5" at best, in Rio I chatted up two Kiwi girls in my hostel because they could speak English, they proceeded to try to latch themselves onto me and got pretty annoying, both wanted my nuts, but were not nearly attractive enough.

New Zealand is nice....I think your getting a winner..

I visited Christchurch..if your black or latino NZ it's a must stop. They love bro's thanks to MTV and Will Smith. You can also use it as a jumpoff for Australia.

The Women
3 groups - white, polynesian/samoa/pac islander and the Maori (poly's who came centuries before). Women can be plain jane but some do have a natural beauty to them with exotic eyes, tan complexions, and long ass hair. You will meet alot who have tat's due to their history and culture. They still don't look as bad as Nba/nfl/u.s. rappers who look like human doodle boards.
The women are very friendly and very outdoorsy and adventurous. Sex is not a problem just throw standard american game.

Country
I was in Christchurch but Wellington/Auckland are other main hubs all located on the ocean and beautiful. Right now its winter but when it warms up people are on the beach chillin. NZ is pure natural beauty. You can cross rainforest, snow capped mtns, deserts, blue water harbors, all in one day.....I believe lord of the rings and several other movies were shot here.

Cost
It's expensive..they go by the NZ dollar....but they do have hostels...I stayed at a friends place for my stay...

Language
English 96 percent of the country and the rest speak Maori

Food
Fish and chips man...NZ is like Japan and they have to import alot of stuff so prices are high...beer is the rule (i'm a liquor kind of guy)...

Violence
Be cool, cats will get drunk and have no problem putting a foot in your ass especially if their drunk after a all blacks win. Rugby and Soccer are the religion...

All Blacks - I remember the first time my friend "brought" their names up and my eyes got fucking big. She said "All blacks took it in the ass"....I did not know the rugby team name was called the All blacks. I was like "no we don't get down like that, I mean we do have a few down low types but 99 percent ain't into that"...so she stares at me and ask me what the fuck am I talking about...LOL

Check out the Haka...it's a big effin deal (no Joe Biden) and I would make employee's do this before meetings...

Funny you mention the haka because I just saw that very clip for the first time a few days ago while googling about rugby. That shit looks crazy! You gotta have mad balls to play rugby. I think NZ is supposed to be the best team in the world too.

Hey there Caramel Communist. Just read your post and I think its very informative, thank you very much.

I'd really love to travel to NZ, maybe even live there a couple of years. I'd really like to know how much does it cost living there monthly, in other words what are the aprox. monthly expenses of living with just basic needs, no need for much luxury. All of this, in american dollars? I'm trying to see if I can get a job soon and save money to get the hell out of here

They have been the best for years. Them and South Africa dominated the game, although NZ in the last few years have been a step above everyone. Its tough, but we dont play that many games in a season. Pro's average maybe 25-30 games, while club players average about 12-15. My body could not handle more than 15 games in a season, it would be wrecked. Your body also gets used to getting hit and tackled, you dont even bruise, so its just conditioning really.

Here is a video of the greatest wing to ever play the game. Jonah Lomu from New Zealand. If Conan the Barbarian played rugby he would have been Lomu. Dude weighed about 270lbs and could run the 100 in under 11. Once he got going you could not stop him, he was like a freight train. Most wings dont clock more than 210lbs.





With regards to NZ, the women are pretty average. The girls have a reputation for putting out and there are some real gems there too. A lot of foreigners there so there is a mix. Lots of asian ladies too. People from New Zealand are some of the nicest people you will meet though, both women and men.

New Zealand is amazing in every way. +1 about girls being open minded, +1 about their beauty isn't at the top of the world list.
