Wear a V-neck and you won't have a problem with your undershirt showing.

I don't understand why Europeans don't wear undershirts. Everyone sweats, and I know my sweat will stain my shirts that much faster if I don't wear an undershirt to extend the life of the dress shirt.

I totally agree with you on a t-shirt under a button down. But guys should step it up and wear a different colored undershirt to get a full contrast
