American/British/European girls
Something I always notice.

European girls are feminine. And have a way of glancing at your eyes and mouth, changing the shape of their lips, playing with their hair, tilting their head and moving their hands when speaking which is very different to American and British girls.

This isn't a paen to European girls. Or a big criticism of US/UK girls.

It is just interesting that the difference in body language is so noticeable.

Just wondering if others ever notice this as well?

I always wondered if the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis could apply to something like this.

You need to be more precise about which country you're talking about, Europe is not a country. French/Italian/German are all different... culture, food, scenery, women are different (Im french by the way). Scandinavia is part of Europe, but the culture is different. Please america stop considering Europe as a same country...

RE: American/British/European girls
Sorry - bit silly of me.

Yeah - I'm in the UK. And I should be more specific. I guess I am talking about French and Italian girls more than anything else.

It may be something to do with their language since I don't really notice it with girls from Scandinavia. And the English/American language has most of it's roots in Scandinavia.

Still - it does have an affect on me on a primal level. I am definitely more disposed to falling in love with a European than with an Britsh/American. I sense certain cues were developed by women subconsciously to display their femininity and they have being lost in America/UK.

So - when you do come across them it is quite noticebale. Almost like some kind of feminine jujitsu used to bewitch the male mind.

I remember reading in a psychology textbook that when speaking to someone - it is normal to stare a colleague in the forehead. A friend in the eyes. And a lover in the mouth.

And it can feel pretty weird when you start mixing them up. It is a funny thing but such a small thing is very noticeable. Try it yourselves sometime. Start staring a colleague in the mouth when they are speaking, and you will quickly sense how weird it feels.

There is a whole world of body language out there. And the different ways women subconsciously use it is noticeable when you travel the world.

Instead of some derived behavior-affecting trait that English has that other Indo-European languages don't, I was thinking more Sapir-Whore hypothesis--hypergamy+promiscuity affects thought, affecting behavior.

Culture correlates with language, as shared language allows quicker transmission of culture--in the case of English-speaking countries, culture that encourages wanton behavior from its girls.
