"Never compromise for a man." This phrase is worn as a badge of courage for women, it's a commonly repeated trope that just can't get any rest, and it demonstrates precisely how narcissistic women are. Women everywhere repeat it as some kind of stand against oppression, but it literally says, "I expect people to curtail their behavior to please me, but there should be no expectation of the same from me."

It's basic maturity. I swear a lot, but if I'm going to church with somebody I'm not going to do it there because it's not appropriate. I also choose not to act like a moron in front of women (when I would around my friends), because I understand how I choose to act is who I am. I won't lean on a shoddy scapegoat to call any choice in my own behavior as oppression. The idea that women shouldn't be responsible for how they act takes away solely from their fight to prove agency.

But then, that's why we don't like feminists. Because the fight for and against agency at the same time is hypocritical and stupid as fuck.

Ahh, the clue for the one I missed. I figured I'd grant her "pretty" since she looks OK for 46 and better than some of the 30 year olds around here. By objective standards she's hideous, but maybe not completely delusional if her fellow cat ladies are even worse.

I think I see the 9, but a couple of the hamsterisms are basically the same, so it can also be 7 or 8. These are all prototypical hamsterisms however. Basically, I got ran through during my prime years, and now I'm all used up and the men I want don't want me. I must rationalize this to make it appear I'M doing the rejecting, and am quite happy with my choice to withdraw from the game - to take my ball and go home if you will.

It's definitely suspicious. Are women fighting back trolling with trolling? Between this revelation, and now this thick-with-hamster paragraph, I think they may be adapting.

Yeah...my thought was that this was from a dating profile. Instead, it was some kind of twitter declaration of independence. I see pretty much all of these hamsterisms in dating profiles every day, though I can't recall a profile that had ALL of them in there!

It's a case of "which one of these things doesn't belong" if you ask me. Her testimonial doesn't belong with the others because it's pretty obvious she'd gladly have sex if some perfect guy appeared at her doorstep. She's not having sex not because of choice, but because she isn't desirable. The last one, Helen, is asexual. I once questioned the notion of asexuality - I always believed that everyone is sexually attracted to something, be it other people, animals...children in some cases. I saw a documentary about asexuals and it changed my mind.

Suppose it depends on how you count, but that's what I found. What a poor, poor woman. Reading stuff like this makes you understand why the mind developed rationalizations as a defense. If she had to face the truth, that she was alone forever and the only person to blame was herself, her little mind would shatter.

She doesn't have to be alone forever. She isn't SO hideous that she can't get dick. Remember, there are tons of desperate, thirsty dudes out there. Countless fatties and fugs are getting smashed right this moment. Her problem is she thinks she's still a prize (if she ever WAS a true prize - she was just younger) and simply too good for any man she encounters.
