Tell me...who does it serve to humiliate this man by entrapping him? If prostitution is illegal in that jurisdiction, it seems to me that it's wrong for police to place the ads in the first place. They're actually creating crime. It seems to me their time would be better served looking for drug dealers or gun runners. And damn...look who he's married to. They should let him off with a warning...HA HA!

Also flushed out in the sting was attorney Christopher Burell Shella, 41, who represented Duke lacrosse gang-rape accuser Crystal Mangum after she was arrested on murder charges in 2011.

It boggles my mind that a dude who won millions would be with a whale like that. I know he's a whale himself, but he's a whale with millions of dollars. Surely he could do better than that beast. I'd rather pay for hookers the rest of my days than have to bang that ugly thing.

Raymer is an awesome dude who has given back a lot to poker and is one of those guys that signs autographs for anyone and everyone and will gladly shake your hand and have a conversation with you. It is horrible that something like this will tarnish his name forever.

Honestly, I don't know how long something like this will stick to him. Outside of the professional poker community, who really knows who this is? It's a misdemeanor, and it's not as if he literally got caught with his pants down. His greatest concern is his wife, and her divorcing him and taking at least half his assets.

A) I'm not hatin' on this guy based on what I know. Look at him. So say he loses the weight, do you honestly see a guy like that becoming a PUA master hitting the club and closing HB7.5s? He leveraged what strength he had -- skill at cards -- and used that to get access to (hopefully) top shelf ass.

B) Who gives a shit. Poker players are either sleezeballs or giant dorks, on average. It's not like he's a preist or a congressman with a sterling reputation to uphold. If anything, a pro poker player banging a hooker is just being congruent.

This guy was bright enough to win the world series of poker, but paid for pussy in the dumbest way possible where you're mostly likely to get caught. These hotel stings are pretty much the only way prostitution laws get enforced against men.
