I'm increasingly convinced that, as idiot feminism continues to crash our society, the US public will turn to the Mormon church as a way of pulling us out of the mess. Timeframe...10-20 years.

Sure, other religions too, but honestly the Mormons are the only ones with the money, the muscle, and the willpower to present themselves as an alternative to the bad times and chaos likely to erupt in next decades.

This also recognizes that the US has a real deep streak of religious nuttiness.

Maybe in concert with a military takeover. World war III is a possible route but it's hard to see that kind of war breaking out, with drones and nuclear weapons around. So the religious option still seems most likely.

yea, those Mormons don't play. they are about that paper but taking over the country in the next 12 years i believe that is a stretch due to the fact that more and more people don't believe there is a GOD.

They'll continue to outperform other groups in most ways but even with their large families I can't see them having the numbers to "take over" in 12 years. I expect they will quickly displace other whites in the low population states surrounding Utah.

Over the long term, conservatism in general will dominate (not just the Mormons) for the simple reason that conservatives produce more children then liberals. There was an article on this in "Foreign Affairs" a while ago.

Growing up in the mormon church I saw two kinds of people. People that were born into the faith, and those who joined later on in their lives because something was lacking.

The attrition rate is heavy for both groups. If you're born into it you eventually realize you can't drink, can't smoke, can't fuck, can't party, can't swear, can't sleep in on sunday, can't avoid missions, can't think for yourself, can't have freedom, can't stay single, unless you lie.

If you've joined later on in life to fill a void, you realize that there is still an empty hole in your life and you stop going unless you're a degenerate parasite feeding off the church, or you really buy into the faith.

It's a religion based on blue pill rule control, with red pill governance. Not much is appealing other than the feeling of community and belonging.

I think ordinary people would see too many negatives in joining this religion for it to truly ever take over.

From what I've read, historically, any religion that demands fanatical violence is a religion that is sputtering on its last legs.

The Roman Catholic crusades were followed by schisms, protestantism, reformations.

The Buddhist rebellions in Afghanistan against their Muslim overlords only ended up destroying Buddhism in the region.

When religions are desperate to tell people to die for their faith, it is a sign not of strength, but of weakness. A strong religion doesn't need to push its followers to that sort of extreme.

I saw that Mormon cult documentary where all the daughters where intermarried with other "members" against their will. Police officer from another town tried to escort one of the women from their home but was forced off the road by local sheriffs who were also cult members. Although I remain skeptical of who killed JFK and why, it is true that small groups in America, such as the Jews, can hold disproportionate power relative to their size.

But the difference between the Jews and Mormons is one of nearly 4000 years. Jews have been accumulating their wealth for a very long time. Likewise I expect it to be another 200-400 years before the Mormons become a powerhouse like the Jews, not 20-40 years.
