This is my personal opinion meant for young guys starting out, but all you veterans here feel free to give your opinions as well.
I was online one day when I read a post from Virgile Kent (Roosh's buddy) that was obvious yet a strong piece of advice if you apply it. It said, "If you get a chance to go on a date..take it."
I read that one line about 10 times over. I had been picking my dates out based on who gave i'd have the easiest time hooking up with. I'd figure it be the wise thing to do to save myself time and money and perhaps you guys think the same. That frame of mind is wrong fellas let me tell you why.
Lets back track 2 years ago. I was 18 and a bit shy. Through some random events I ended up working for a company that sells kitchen utensils by calling up people you know, making appointments to do a demo for them to get sells and references and build a client list.My boss's advice was this do as much demos as possible. I don't care if you think they have no interest in buying just do the demo! As of now you're starting off, you don't know how to tell whose a customer and whose not. Later on you can be picky about who you demo for but not now. It is essential you do as much demos as possible because there will be those who will become customers easily, those who dont care if your dead or alive and will be looking at the clock waiting for you to leave and then there are the undecided. Doing demos will give you the experience to make sells later on to those who are undecided.
That is what I thought of when I read this advice. My 26 year old ex boss who had the enthusiasm of 100 men.
I dont care if you think you are %100000 sure you wont even get a kiss at the end of the night just go on the date! I don't care if you only have $30 in your pocket and you want a new shirt from armani exchange because if you want to be good with women that $30 will be better spent on a movie date (for those under 21 such as myself) then your jersey shore armani exchange shirt.
"But Padrino what if i make a fool out of myself with a girl on a date" ...GOOD! I hope you royally fuck up a handful of times because thats when you learn the most. I have asked out girls who were older then me and girls who were out of my league and girls who i had nothing in common with and I knew it was going to be tough and there was a high chance I might fuck up but I dove in and gave it my all anyway. If you want to fuck her then ask her out on a date. If nothing happens but you take a few minutes to ask yourself, "What could I have done different?" then its worth it. Sometimes the answer is nothing it was a strike out from the start like you predicted but even then you have gained experience from stepping out of your comfort zone.
I have 2 dates lined up for this weekend how about you guys?
