Oh of course. You're totally right. This feeling is normal, and it's probably why a lot of us found this part of the internet. I know it's what brought me here.

To get past that feeling completely would probably require a small level of sociopathy, but you have to do it if you're going to get better at this.

I think the stages are "How could she move on so fast?" to "Well she's just a slut and that will catch up with her in 5 years." to "who cares."

That's a common misconception. The older you get, the better older women look to you. I never would have given a 40-something woman a second glance before I entered my 40's. Half true. Older women do look better when you're older and, yes, high school girls start to look like kids.

But women who hit the wall hit the wall. That doesn't change no matter how old you get. And there is no shortage of mature-looking high schoolers who transcend age (Bella Thorne).

If you're a fortysomething guy, a quick look at the Facebook pics of girls you knew in high school make this clear. If you're lucky 50 percent of them will look good -- and even with that there's a fall off from the way they looked back in the day.

The average woman does not have the genetics of Sofía Vergara (age 42). Esp. not American ones.

I'm in my late 40s. Women my own age just don't cut it. There may be a handfull of 40+ chicks I could get a boner for, but it's rare.

There's also a big difference between an early 40s chick and late 40s. The deterioration is rapid and harsh. By the late 40s they have really ugly hands. Big knuckles and veins and all together not feminine.

Agreed. I should have said I find well put-together 40+ women super hot. Women who let themselves go are dead to me. And genetics is only half of it. Exercise, make-up and nice hair go a loooong way in my book.

Not long ago I SNL with a 31 year old. Thin, great ass, yoga body a low 7 overall. She had the veiny knuckley hands and the big veins on top of the wrist and in the hands. Fuck, noticing that the next morning was just a boner destroyer.

I'm 44. Last week I dated a 34 year old lawyer. She works out all the time, etc. But, she's not a natural beauty. She's okay/sort of pretty and thin. Honesty, she just seemed too old for me.
