I don't know if it's like this throughout the United States, but in Cincy, the county Sheriff operates the local jail, and all mugshots are released as a matter of public records.

I usually browse once a week or so to see if anybody I know has been locked up, and to check out some of the stranger mugshots. I don't know any of the folks below, but the pictures were certainly curious.

Multiple folks commented on this mugshot, mostly wondering what the large growth on his head is, others joked that it wouldn't be hard to pinpoint the fellow if on the lam.

I'm not sure what he was arrested for, but of the dozen or so Indian restaurants around here, his family owns two of the best - one in town, the other in the 'burbs.

Last year I was in Florida and wanted to get in touch with an old friend. I lost his number and he didn't answer my messages through email and Facebook so I decided to Google him to see if I could find his number.I found his mugshot. He had been arrested a few days before, and I knew this was at least his third DUI so he was still in jail.

Damn, is that what it is? I'd suspected as much but I try to avoid looking at those "faces of meth" type pictures - shit is disgusting.

Anybody have any idea what the knot in top dude's head is?
