Supposedly a doctor had come up with a serum from goats that cured AIDs from using the antibodies produces in goats

I'm not saying raw-doggers will ever be risk-free, but if this hopeful little breakthrough turns out to be the real deal and we see a legitimate, reliable cure, they'll at least have one less thing to worry about. I don't think there is any risk to sexual intercourse (not pregnancy or any other STD like herpes) that is quite as feared as HIV.

True. I was being flippant because the idea of pregnancy genuinely terrifies me like nothing else. The idea of HIV doesn't initially scare me in the same way. Which is a little worrying, when I think about it. Especially reading things like:

I researched this and it looks bogus. The product was called BB7075b and has had "dissapointing results" and has not even been tested as safe. Also a company was based on the research and bilked investors out of millions of dollars. I suspect mafia involvement (but then again I've been watching the Sopranos for 4 days straight now).

Also the original post was about a baby being cured, apparently by using the same drugs that adults use, who are never cured. The only news there is that babies have more resilient immune systems than adults.

Perhaps I'm alone in this, but I simply do not fear HIV. I worry far less about catching HIV than I do about catching hepatitis, herpes, genital warts, antibiotic-resistant gonorrhea, or pregnancy.

You aren't alone on that one. I'm skeptical about AIDs, especially because it's so widely feared and talked about in popular space. I don't completed discount it, but I'm not really afraid of catching it all.

As a guy I'm not really that worried about catching STDs.

The only STDs I really fear are hepatitis and kids.

Damn thats a shame because it looked promising. At least it lowered the viral load of the young girl in the video

There is also another guy Timothy Brown known as the "berlin patient" who also claims to be cured of AIDS after he received a blood stem cell transplant
