What's the relationship between Bridge and Investing?
Nowdays, a lot of investors/traders/ibankers play poker. Before poker, the card game of choice was Bridge. I've never played bridge.

Is there a special appeal for financial folks?

And bonus question, why not chess? Or go?

completely uneducated guess,

poker + bridge are about amassing assets (looks like in bridge you even make deals, buy options, etc) whereas chess is 1v1 direct warfare

both are a games of numbers, odds, and incomplete information (especially poker). same as investing because it's impossible to know all the factors and the best you can do is make an educated guess.

The quants ruined it.

Now the game of choice is actually black jack and getting incredibly drunk.
