New women's law going into effect
It may affect you guys in college:

Quote:The Campus Sexual Violence Elimination Act, included in the Senate version of VAWA, is the most significant legislation to address college rape in 20 years. The law will require colleges to include reports of dating violence, sexual assault and stalking in their annual crime statistics. Schools also will have to provide awareness programs for new students and employees, and must offer students or employees who are victims of abuse a change in housing or work environment.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/03/01..._hp_ref=tw

I predict two things:

1. The "awareness program" will be more like re-education programs where men are taught rules on how to treat girls like fragile princesses and obey their whims. They will learn to tame their masculinity.

2. The definition of "stalking" will be expanded to include sending text messages. "Abuse" will include just about anything that makes a girl uncomfortable or "feel" unsafe.

Man, America is crazy. That said, I often find most of this feminist bullshit doesn't directly translate into real life, at least not in the UK. I mean, everyone still knows men think fat women are ugly etc.

That said, in University, I did feel my freedom of speech was heavily curtailed with the unsaid threat of ostracization.

RE: New women's law going into effect
3. Many female students will start buying into all the 'rape culture' programming and see incidences of rape and sexual assault where they hadn't before. When her friend Becky has a bad hookup, it gets transmogrified into rape in her mind, and she convinces Becky she is a rape victim.

Edit: I've personally seen shades of this. This is also why the stated rape rate will climb. It's like lowering the threshold for say, consumer fraud. If something was chalked off as 'buyer beware' before, and the consumer had to be wary, and then the rules change to enhance the consumer's position, 'consumer fraud' will climb. And human nature when it comes to something like sex is a lot more intractable than mere selling practices.

There are a couple of bitches I could have reported for stalking me during my university days. Men should use this new law to report any crazy shit bitches do.

I've got the dick so I make the rules.

Do they have this kind of law in the already more feminized countries like Sweden?

We should look to them for a glimpse into our own future.

I disagree. I actually think that plays right into radical feminist ideology. One thing that feminists always say is that feminism isn't just about women, that it improves masculinity. Feminists would welcome a few token opportunities to sanction women if it advanced their overall agenda.

Once you start accusing women of stalking you or harassing you just to get back at feminists, you're playing their game. And the rules to their game are rigged.

I wonder... if the universities are now required to report their crime statistics to future students, wouldn't this give the university incentive to make the numbers as low as possible? For example, under reporting or lowering enforcement. Universities don't want to kill their enrollment and donation numbers by releasing data that looks bad.

To be honest I really believe the single purpose of feminism is actually to continuously RAISE the bar on what "Alpha" is.

You must max out your looks, you must have game, you must work like a dog to get a job over a woman because on paper she will get priority over you.

As time goes on every single mistake you make will be magnified 100 fold in the future. This will include not staying in shape, not improving social skills and not grinding every single day to make money.

No lies, would not want to be a male college student today. Cannot fathom ever wanting to raise a boy into this environment.

Yes. Third-wave feminism is the institutionalization of female mating preferences. It is one big shit test. React accordingly.

RE: New women's law going into effect
houston. rape is a serious issue on campus, I'm pretty sure about 69% of girls are raped at one point or another, the misogynistic powers of the media and the university cover them all up though.

Chicks (at least on my campus) are so irrationally afraid of rape when walking around campus. They're bigger than 60% of the dudes and theres always people walking around. My ex from way back actually wanted me to walk her from her car in a lit parkade to her house across a lit, busy street.

What I find most Hamster is that they'll ask random dudes at parties to walk them home. I would think that makes you WAY more likely to get raped then just wandering around a campus where the biggest crimes are drawing dicks on bathroom stalls and shoplifting chocolate bars.

RE: New women's law going into effect
Found out from Yahoo that more aspects of the "SAVE Act" are in effect as of July 1st. http://news.yahoo.com/federal-regulation...07959.html

Almost every comment on the article is tearing it apart

Quote:Will there also be new federal regulations dealing with those that make false accusations of sexual assault?

Quote:According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics in their study covering female college campus women from 1995-2013..., "The rate of rape and sexual assault was 1.2 times higher for nonstudents (7.6 per 1,000) than for students (6.1 per 1,000)."

So rape on college campuses was 6.1 in 1000... that is, 0.0061 percent... that's 6 TENTHS OF ONE PERCENT. NOT THE ONE IN FIVE THE LEFT WOULD HAVE YOU BELIEVE. Can you guess why they are lying to you ?

Quote:My grandson, a graduate student at a Pac-10 school on the west coast, was accused of sexual assault by a vindictive girl who was angry when he wouldn't date her. Of course, girls are believable, and guys will always lie, but that isn't true. She was out to create grief for him, and she did. HE was suspended from campus, arrested for assault--for which there was no evidence--and ended up briefly living in his car in utter depression. The so-called Lawyer he had advised him to plea out, though he had not done anything. Finally, one night, he rented a motel room, filled the tub with hot water, and then laid down in that soothing bath to take a handful of sleeping pills. He left text messages that he was sorry to all of us who loved him.
So I ask, who will protect young men like my grandson? I miss him so much, as do his mom and dad and his brothers and all the people who knew him to be such a great person.
One rejected girl who thought herself too important, too beautiful, too great a catch to be rejected, got even, as she said she would.
Who will protect young men like my grandson? How does this law help him? The university he attended turned its back on him, and he was left with no place to go.
^I was leery of an MRA sob story troll but from past comment history the profile and story seem legit.

Quote:it is really sad when this happens, but there is something women can do to stop it.
first they can stop putting them selves in danger, like going to a party and drinking until they are unconscious. I understand and I agree that anyone that rapes a woman that is unconscious is an animal, but it will happen never the less, so they can stop doing that
another thing they can do is stop trying to fit in. it usually leads to sex
and the last thing they can do is don't accuse a guy out of spite

Quote:COLLEGE MEN: I recommend you seek a lawyer BEFORE you have sex with any woman on campus. Find out what type of legal form you must have that woman sign PRIOR to a sexual encounter. Get a signed agreement EVERY time you have a sexual encounter.

Remember, without properly signed documents you could find it impossible to be hired for a job in your field, you could lose 1/2 of your earnings for the rest of your life, you could spend the next 12 years in prison.

And my personal favorite

Quote:I imagine alcohol and drugs have more to do with rape on campus than anything else.

Why not ban alcohol? Oh wait alcohol is illegal.
Why not ban drugs? Oh wait drugs are illegal.
Why not ban rape? Oh wait rape is illegal.
You think the next law is the one people will follow?? Wake up people -- we need more personal accountability, not more laws.

Federal government overreach in every aspect of your life. These maniacs are out of control and need to be stopped before we have a. Today's politicians are the exact people our founding fathers worried about.

Every one of these comments is 10:1 likes:dislikes, almost makes you think these high profile rape cases which seem to inevitably end up being false are finally turning the tables. A man can hope anyway.

RE: New women's law going into effect
My 2 cents:

Why do they draft a law that gives colleges judicial powers on "sexual assault" cases?

Shouldnt those cases be handled by the police, as in "Oh, Im sorry you got raped, but this is a criminal issue and thus you should be going to the police instead"?

Who benefits from this?

It is entirely flabbergasting to me that such a shit storm of policies can be implemented based entirely on hysteria and whining in the face of actual statistics. Perhaps these politicians are simply trying to compensate for their own guilty pasts? It is common knowledge that politicians and lawyers are the greatest consumers of opiates and benzos, after all...

How long before we see a revolt and the likely civil war that follows? I can see a future where a "University of Roosh - A place of learning for men" exists and will be the primary only source of actual scholarly research in America. These stains can keep their fruity überlib cesspools of hate and destruction

It may be time to make UoR a reality. While our degrees might not necessarily mean much in the eyes of tainted HR staff, it will mean everything to the company which desires competent and intelligent staff

RE: New women's law going into effect
Roosh started this thread in March of 2013.

In the two years since, we've seen the false Rolling Stone rape story and Mattress Girl. This says to me that with laws like this, lawmakers and colleges are creating an atmosphere in which hysteria can flourish.

If you tell someone enough times something is a problem, they'll believe it, no matter what statistics say and no matter what they see with their own eyes. So it's no surprise we have college girls filing false charges and making up stories.

What is a surprise is that the media has gone along with this. Years ago we had a skeptical media. When government made policy, they questioned it. When someone came out with statistics, they checked them.

Today, all the reporters who did that sort of thing have been laid off or bought out. We now have a bunch of just-out-of-college kids or biased ideologues pushing whatever the state's agenda is. In short, the mainstream media has turned into Pravda circa 1975.

Exactly. If you're a university student, never date, hookup etc with any girls on from your institution.

Yet, as has been mentioned elsewhere, this too can backfire, girls have started rumors against guys who rebuffed them and get them charged with false rape accusations. Kind of damned if you do, damned if you don't. However, this can be avoided, but creating some kind of electronic paper trail of your whereabouts at all time and avoid one on one contact with a girl.

I think there is some real meat to this - as the internet commentariat cannot afford top quality journalists anymore, if they ever could. Most newspapers, so I understand these days are under significant financial pressure and I think this affects the quality of journalism badly, as DoBA says.

I guess all the PUA's selling their college guides to getting laid are now guides to going to jail. Laugh

What the hell is the point of college anymore? Huge debt? High chances of becoming a sex offender? I suppose if a young man really wants to be a eunuch for 4-years while studying a science or tech field it can sorta be worth it? College used to be a great place to meet girls and party, now it's resembling something far more strict than any monastery...

The huge cost alone has become ridiculous so much so that it's hard to think anyone will be able to realistically send say 2 children all the way through school. It's now upwards of $200,000+ after-tax dollars to send one kid to private school (maybe half that at a state school I'd guess). Taking out huge loans for anything but a top tier school makes no sense, and even then if you could get into Harvard or Yale you're probably good enough to get a full ride at a good 2nd tier school so that would be the better option.

Sending my kids off to get indoctrinated into even more SJW/PC stuff while awarding destructive, far-leftist tenured "professors" also sticks in my craw enough to not make me want to send my kids to college.

But yeah the legal risks seem huge now given all these draconian PC laws and the kangaroo courts & "guilty until proven innocent" methods used on our college campuses.

Someone mentioned mattress girl. I ran into a girl in NYC with a Columbia sweatshirt. We were both waiting for a flight. So I asked her, "Do you go to Columbia?" She said yes. I asked her what she thought of mattress girl and she got so embarrassed! Didn't want to talk about it. Don't read too much into this - I think most young women think it is a serious think worth time and attention. But at least one woman was embarrassed by it.

^^^^^^^
I'm curious to know what UC-Davis will do if students want to watch reruns of "Pimp My Ride" or listen to "Bitch Better Have My Money" or even older songs like "The Bitch is Back" by Elton John.

Can students mention these things in conversation or will they be reprimanded? Will it get to the point where we see bans on stuff like this?

This reminds me of Catholic school, and how we weren't allowed to mention certain body parts or use certain (non-profane) words the nuns didn't like or we'd get detention.

The left has become like Catholic school. Why and how? In my opinion it's because the controlling women who would have hid their lesbianism in convents in years past now are now out and proud in colleges, making rules such as this. They were less harmful when they were ensconced in the Catholic community, where they at least were useful in teaching proper grammar.
