Reading the YouTube comments, someone posted a link to a cam site and it appears that the girl with the novio that he fucked is a cam whore (dildo shows). It explains how she pays for all that surgery.

Can't wait for episode 2, that final scene must be one of the most peculiar situations a player could ever find themselves in. It's one thing to meet a girl's boyfriend in public, or to simply find out he has one. But to meet him like that, damn, how could you even play that off without a confrontation or full on fight? I can't picture it.

How long in a second tier (3rd tier??) Paisa city like Pereira, Manizales or Armenia would you recommend for a ONS? Is some time needed to set up dates, deal with cancellations, schedule second dates etc.. or is there a one night stand/nightlife hookup culture in those cities that can speed things up?

Also if one was to go there, would it be wise to look for an apartment as in Bogotá and Medellín or is a hostel/hotel fine?

I've not had much luck in Colombia with ONS unless I had webcammed them before (maybe they can internally count that as a first date?), not to say that it can't be and isn't done. But most on here seem to agree that Colombia as a whole isn't a ONS culture. I think it's easier in the coast, 90 degree weather makes everybody horny.

Manizales has a very conservative vibe, and while the college kids liven it up a lot, they by and large stay in line- more of a cafe/bar culture where it's cool to be understated. Of course there are women outside of the college, but Manizales is only 400k people and much of it inaccessible because of the way the city is built along a mountain ridgeline. It's worth visiting for the views and young girls and good weed (legal in Colo up to 20g), but I would definitely pipeline there first. Stay as close as you can to El Cable, and because you're probably going to be gaming younger girls I'd say you can get away with a private room in one of the hostels not far from there, Manizales doesn't really seem to have swank hotels anyway. If you lay the groundwork, this might be a good off-week option for Medellin (Sun-Wed).

Pereira and Medellin are very similar to me, Pereira's vibe and women and weather are just like Medellin but at 1/4 the size. It even has a narco presence like Medellin, so don't be insulting anybody. Interestingly, women from Pereira have the worst reputation inside of Colombia as being players (they call them Perreirianas, like bitches in Spanish), although that's the fucking pot calling the kettle black. I like the girls in Pereira a little more than Medellin because they're just as pretty with less plastic. Still, I would pipeline those cities before you get there, it reduces the flake rate somewhat. In Pereira you want a nice hotel near Circumvalar, specifically Arboleda Mall. Pereira has an easy setup, you have Juan Valdez cafe right on Circumvalar to hunt and people-watch in the daytime as well as walking access to both Victoria and Arboleda Malls. Then at night, the bars are right on the same street, just higher up. I've never stayed in Pereira for more than a couple nights, but I think I could happily do a week or more there.

Medellin, I would keep it to nice apartments and hotels, these are big-city girls and take a little more to impress. AirBnB seems to offer much better deals than hotels, especially if you can get a 2/3 bedroom with some wingmen. You can always stay along the Gringo Trail of Calle 10 in El Poblado, and there are some pretty awesome and affordable stabbin' cabins there, but there are also nice hotels near the stadium (La 70) and in Laureles (La 33), which is a much better place to hunt than Poblado. If you get an apartment, get one one up the side of the mountain in Poblado with a big balcony overlooking the city. It's a beautiful night, the breeze up there is making her a little chilly... and you're closing.

Your best bet for ONS is probably to hit on female travelers in hostels in Medellin and Salento (near Pereira). There is nothing sadder than a group of traveling girls in Medellin; normally they are being swarmed by dudes at the hostel sausage fest, but when guys hit Medellin we usually have bigger fish to fry. Plenty of guys guys go out for the night, nail Medellin hookers, and then come back to party late night at the hostel and bang the bored gringas.

Haven't watched the whole vid yet but I plan to. Production looks really good though. Interesting to use video when approaching girls. Not my style at all but I like to see it when it's done well. I met up with a dude last year in NYC who is mutual friends with both Travelbum and Mixx (former RVF'er). Mixx and Travelbum were supposed to link up on a video but apparently had some type of falling out. I talk to Mixx on Whatsapp sometimes and he lives in Medellin full time now. Looks crazy down there. I need to go back for a long term stay.

I watched the link videos...if it ain't her it's a clone. Even the stomach looks the same. I was curious how she could avoid all that surgery as well as when I looked at prices it wasn't "all that cheap." She still had several thousand dollars of surgery done during the show. Ok, just watched the clip in its entirety. Btw, good post Menace. Really enjoyed the production.

Main takeaways:

Damn. Medellin will make you really reconsider your life plans. The interactions with those chicks is how it should always be: sweet, smiling, feminine personalities.

Not a fan of all that plastic though. Also, it's wild how comfortable that one chick was with him. I can't imagine just meeting a chick in the US and accompanying her while she gets implants a week later. Goes to show how friendly Colombianas are.

There were a few times I watched the clip and regretted the fact I didn't spend more time in Medellin when I was there. At the time, I wanted to see the rest of South America so I kept it moving. Only spent 7-9 days in Med and hung out with a Swiss chick

In hindsight, I can't regret it because I got to see all of South America pretty much and had a blast but maybe spending a few months in Med with an apartment and a player game plan would have been worth it too.

As for Travelbum, I cringed a few times at his corny gringo antics. I give him props for being a relatively fearless approacher but he just needs to tighten some things up. I think 4-8 weeks of intensive language courses in Quito would help him tremendously. Stronger Spanish comprehension combined with his approach rate would do some wonders in Medellin. Transform him from a gringo jokester to an assimilated Spanish-speaking player.

I think the show is filled with natural and candid footage (i.e. everything but Isabelle), but the whole Isabelle deal is a scripted 'subplot' to spice things up a bit.

When he met her on the street it seemed pretty natural. But the fact that in the same day she ended up half nude in his apartment on camera is as good as any evidence you'll get there is some creative license at play. On the other hand, she is a prepago, so perhaps the attention of a charismatic, good looking gringo with an impressive photo reel was enough for her. Only way you'd know is if you spoke with the the producer, otherwise we're just guessing.

I'm definitely looking forward to the next episode, whatever the case, it has extremely entertaining.

Yup....I guess he was pissed off at that moment.....he's selling one condo and moving into another. Even I get sick of the attitudes....it's apart of the lifestyle we choose to embark upon. I will have to ask him if he plans on moving elsewhere lol....I doubt it.

Anyhow, back on topic.....the video gives you a glimpse of how it might be. Remember travel bum had to edit many more hours of film before he ended up with the final product. This is a reality in the documentary filmmaking world. Don't expect to go on cilovia (Sunday morning street closures) and walk and talk with all sorts of girls. However, if you have a unique dog for example a husky or whatever, (not common here) then you might be able to talk to a few who are interested about your animal. But for the 99.9999% of you who don't live here and don't have access to a dog well you can always approach those who do and try your luck.

I'm gonna have to write a memoir with all the interesting characters I've come across here and my life as an expat in Medellin. Maybe get mixx to write a preface HA

I think no matter where you live you will get tired of certain aspects of the women and culture. It just goes with the territory which is why taking vacations to reload is good thing.

Man, I have a funny ass Colombia story about this. I met this American expat in Cartagena right after he retrieved his Husky which got stolen.

He had been on the marina in Cartagena one time and let his dog off the leash for a little bit. He started talking to someone and when he turned around after a minute or so he couldn't find his dog.

So after an emergency search around the area that turned up short, he created a flyer and printed hundreds of copies (not exactly cheap in Colombia). He posted them all around the city. He found some sympathizers who set him up with a tv station where he made his case on local TV. The radio station also put out a word for him.

He had the dog for years and it had accompanied him from the States to his new digs in Colombia.

The reward he posted on the flyer was one million Colombian pesos, which is $500 USD.

So, someone had seen his TV spot and called him up. They had the dog which was sold to them by some drug dealer.

However, they were more concerned about the reward and couldn't believe that someone would pay 1 million pesos for a damn dog. They thought it was some kind of trick, so for a few days there was a lot of back and forth until they were finally convinced that the dude was serious.

So they met up and he got his dog in exchange for the money.

1) Whoever said Belo Horizonte is the Brazilian version of Medellin, Colombia seems to be dead on except not as plasticy (haven't been to Colombia yet...I also can't find that post/thread)
2) Plastic surgery is a big deal in Belo (Brazil in general), but it seems to be an even bigger deal in Colombia.
3) Fake asses not as big of a priority in Brazil unless she's a p4p or high end escort type gal.
4) Girls in both places really prioritize taking care of themselves it seems. Sweet & friendly.
5) You need extended time getting used to the social scene in both places for say a month+ to maximize stay there.
6) Though nightlife seems to be fun in both locales, social scene & daygame seem the way to go (mandatory rather).
7) Whereas Paisas seem to prioritize having a bf for the sake of having one (or a sponsor), Mineiras seem to value the traditional relationship more minus the ulterior motives.
8) With that being said, somebody put it best when he preferred having "a Mineira wife, but a Colombian mistress" (again can't find thread/post) lol.

Damn. my boy who I shared the video with pointed out that the guy at the 14:22 min mark was this cat we met with in NYC. That's the dude I was talking to at a rooftop party there. Didn't recognize him but he knows both Mixx and Travelbum. Cool guy. That was real honest insight about what it's really like to get with Medellin chicks. Not an ONS scene, but a long term project.

I got laid on a 2nd date in Manizales. Met a 22yr old (8) working in a mall. Invited her for a drink two days later on a weekday, she was resistant at first because she didn't live close to the mall like me, but I was persuasive.
