2006 Honda civic, minor scratches and dents but nothing terrible for rolling into high school. Its also stick shift, which everyone is easily impressed with. Audio system is actually fucking great, any type of music sounds sick on it. In my opinion, its got more "personality", if you will, than the typical beat up minivan or corolla you see in the parking lot of my school.

Edit: didnt realize how obnoxiously big this picture would be, my bad
DimeBait 路 2016-06-28 13:51:00 路 #1029
I would add that just having a car in high-school is enough no matter what it looks like.

I would really appreciate your input El Mechanico.

Is this beta? What is your opinion of the current generation of Mustangs?

Am I correct in believing that getting the V8 model is a requirement for it to qualify as alpha? If it is indeed beta, is there a different entry level American muscle car that you would recommend?

Thanks.

Thats one of my favorite cars on the road at the moment. They nailed the design, and the 5.0 is no slouch.

My cousins Camaro though, 700hp is the real deal. But looks wise, I prefer the Mustang.

I'm going to have to say beta because of knowing so many people who drive them. They come in and want the mufflers changed on new ones all the time and want to watch/ wait.

I actually thought about getting a white one and blacking everything out aka "storm trooper" it out.

I still think it's a great looking car, out of the last few generations. Of course we'd all prefer the old 60's model.

I don't like the look of the Camaro either.

I like the sound of a well made engine roaring with power, but all the after market mufflers just make them sound so try hard. The rice rockets are the worst. When you test drove Mustangs did you get any attention from the ladies? In my local area Mustangs don't stand out in the sea of Porsches, Ferraris, Lambos, Benz, etc.

That's why the newest generation of Mustangs appeal to me, they remind of the 60's models.

Its different over on this side of the pond. Like El Mech said, they are lost in the sea of other Stangs.

I rented a GT in Florida a couple years ago. It was a convertible, had fun torque and with the top down and cruising the late afternoon roads with a sexy blond Swede next to me at felt "Alpha as Fuck". No, I didn't stand out, but who cares. We had fun, it has enough of a scare factor to make a chick wet.

Fun car even with 'only' 400hp.

Well Harley > most average cars. Laugh

I just need to start building on top of it or get a 103 dyna later.

Since I drive almost every car I'll tell you what women look at the most.

Saab, Benz, BMW, Volvo believe it or not.
el mechanico 路 2016-06-29 16:39:00 路 #1039
I thought about it the last hour or so ..

As far as American muscle goes and I'm talking about my own experience as a kid and drag racing illegally.

The Mopar crowd tends to be most alpha.

I drove around in some girls 2011ish v70 for a while. That's what gay guys want when they turn 16, but I got lots of stares.

Aloha!

Maybe it was because they were shocked that station wagons were still being made?

Aloha!

Until I learned game, it didn't really dawn on me that chicks opening me talking about my Jeep would have probably hopped in for a ride and makeout session...

The two vehicles that get the most pussy I have witnessed have been:

VW "Thing"

And a Jeep, top off, in the summer.

I know guys that drive Lambos, but when a VW Thing rolls by, thats where the girls want to be.
RexImperator 路 2016-06-30 11:33:00 路 #1047
I think there was a study somewhere that said girls who drive a Jeep Wrangler are more promiscuous. It's an attention-whoring car: high-up plus open (convertible).

If you are older: buy a CJ7 and restore it...conversation piece.

I drive a '14 Grand Caravan, White with the almost R/T rims.

[Image: 2014_dodge_grand_caravan_sxt_dublin_ga_4...109958.jpg]

The problem is that half the taxi transportation industry here uses the Grand Caravan. Probably why it was so cheap. Interior quality is so poor. Carpet is already falling apart, while the rug is torn. One power door already stopped working also. I had it about a year too.

2006 Renault Clio. Petrol with 1.2litre engine.

I do about 2-3k miles/year so don't really need a car. Mines different colour though.

Ironically has very little effect on the girls I interact with. The #1 response I get is, "Your 5 series looks weird..."

Sometimes for laughs I'll pick them up in my beater Toyota Sienna that I use for work, which always gets their 386 processors overclocked as they look on in confusion.
