Upgraded from the nasty Kimora Lee to this...

I read his Do You book years ago and don't remember much about it. I may pick it back up. I always preferred his lifestyle on the Run's House show. Run was the domesticated father dealing with whiny kids while Russell always kept it real.

Kimora was a model too, before marriage, babies and ballooning up. Russell is a notorious modelizer, and hits fashion week to scope out new talent. Just like Leo uses the Victoria's Secret catalogue, Russell uses fashion shows. And he scoops 'em up YOUNG. He's 50, and still hunts the early 20-somethings. I love it.

I read his book Do You many years ago. It was surprisingly a very decent book. Lots of gems and insights. Russ is a spiritual dude in general. My boy who yall may remember on this forum Eros International used to do yoga at the same studio in NYC that Russ goes to and runs into him every now and then. He's apparently like 6'0 in person which is not what I'd expect. Always has a couple of yoga chicks in tow.

Russell has always dressed in the gear that he made at Phat Farm. I guess it's a little strange for a 50-something year old to dress in jeans, sneakers, polos, sweater-vests and ball caps ALL the time, but that's become his signature.

Honestly, Phat Farm was conceived as kind of a "Preppy-Hood" hybrid. Yeah, it was jeans and polos, but not gaudy. Some of the other urban wear that was out there is ridiculous, with the colors and huge prints and lettering, etc., but Phat Farm had more class, less street. He incorporated things like varsity sweaters, sweater-vests, etc.

Remember, Russell was always an executive/businessman, not a performer. It's all about the circles you run in, and most guys in Hip-Hop (performers) aren't running in the same circles as the kind of models and actresses you're talking about. It's a different crowd from rockers.

Tennis Players and F1 Drivers may even defeat the rockers though.

I've read a lot of books on Hollywood and the movie biz. A-list actresses are looked down upon for doing what's referred to as "fucking below the line". A-list actresses are only supposed to be seen with or date other A-listers OR high level entertainment industry execs.There are rare exceptions but that's pretty much the rule.To Hollywood types Hip Hop artist and even those Hip Hop artist that cross over to acting will never really truly be movie stars.Will Smith pretty much being the exception because he made pretty wholesome music and he all but abandoned his music career once he started getting the A-list roles.Hollywood is ran by people with some pretty backwards views on the world.

F1 stars make a killing as do the top tennis players. Both are worldwide sports and the fellas themselves earn big bucks. Some soccer stars aren't doing too bad either, Mario Balotelli, Cristiano Ronaldo etc but primarily the majority of them hook up with girlfriends and get married at a young age.

I don't think many musicians can stand up to the sportsmen, purely for their dough, some of them are alpha as fuck though.
