As it has been said in this thread multiple times : women and men DON'T have equal strength.
I remember during Krav Maga, then MMA lessons, training with men and women.
The gap in strength is Giant.
Being punched by a woman feels like being attacked by a child : it's annoying, no strength, no power, no fear, that's all.
And I'm not talking about girls with years of training...they're a joke.

I like playing devils advocate, there are actually several other jobs that more that suit them from what you list.

...That they can do with enough more skill than men to outweigh the myriad negatives of having them in our military?
Why yes, I could defend that for more than a couple. Far more goes on than simply shooting and moving dead bodies. Not that I particularly advocate that however.
Well what are you thinking of? The only thing we needed chicks for when I was in the army was dealing with Iraqi women in certain circumstances and that was always a "grab the nearest available chick from the support battalion" sort of thing.
They did okay in some jobs, sucked a lot in most, and added drama far beyond their worth as soldiers. At no point did I ever think "boy, I wish there were more women in this unit."

But for the legal system giving out pussy passes and crucifying men for giving woman so much as a slap this kind of thing would not even be an issue.
If you've ever got to slap a ho, take care of the camera-man first.
Alternately if her cuck boyfriend tries to "defuse" the situation beat his faggot ass so that she gets to look at his blackened face for a month and be reminded that there are consequences for "taking a shot".

I recall a kickboxing sparring session with a chick who was about to compete an at amateur level or was already competing at a female amateur level.
She complained that I was kicking to hard or kicking too much or some such.
I mentally rolled my eyes. Never mind that she had accidentally kicked me in the groin while I wasn't wearing a cup, to which I just completely ignored it.
On a different occasion, for another sparring session. The call was put out to partner up.
Some chick decked out in tattoos & Thai boxing shorts motioned towards me straight away.
This chick was all of 5'6" to my over 6 feet in height.
I figured, sure what ev's?
Chick looked "hard" at face value. All those tattoos & the Thai boxing shorts. Chick must be accustomed & all, surely?
About one minute in, I caught her with a side kick to the gut. Knocked the wind out of her & she lay down on the mat.
The head trainer said - "what's going on over there?"
To which I simply shrugged.
Guess the chick only 'looked' the part of being 'hard'. She didn't actually have the experience or ability to back up her 'hard' visage.

Quote:Ronda Rousey’s fighting career is most likely finished, UFC president Dana White said Monday.
White said on the UFC Unfiltered podcast that he’d spoken to Rousey recently and did not get the indication that she wanted to fight again.
“Her spirits are good and she’s doing her own thing,” White said. “In the conversation I had with her, if I had to say right here, right now – and I don’t like saying right here, right now because it’s up to her, it’s her thing – but I wouldn’t say she fights again. I think she’s probably done. I think she’s going to ride off in the sunset and start living her life outside of fighting.”
Rousey, 29, became the UFC’s first female champion in 2012 and made six defenses of the women’s bantamweight belt, all inside the distance and all but one inside the first round. But the former Olympic bronze medallist suffered a spectacular knockout loss to Holly Holm in 2015, then after a year-long layoff was dominated in her comeback fight against current champion Amanda Nunes on 30 December.
“It’s not that I even think it was an invincible thing, it’s that she’s so competitive that her career and record meant everything to her,” White said. “Then, once she lost, she started to say to herself, ‘What the hell am I doing? This is my whole life? This is it? I want to experience and start doing other things.’ That’s what she’s started to do.
“She’s got a lot of money. She’s never going to need money again. First of all, unless you spend money like crazy, unless you spend money like Floyd [Mayweather], you’re not going to need money again when you have the kind of money that Ronda has. She’s not a big spender. She’s got a cute place down in Venice, California.”
Added White: “She changed the world. She put female fighting on the map. She’s been part of the biggest fights in the history of women fighting and I hope those records can be broken. I don’t know if they can but I hope they can.”
Holm will fight at UFC 208 on 11 February in Brooklyn.
< She realized that she never was a boxer to begin with and won with her other skills. She made a lot of cash since the mydia hypes always the independent strong woman.
She is still a celebrity and many women will lap up her shit no matter what she does. So good for her that she came to this realization. She will still manage to rake in millions even on her waning stardom.

At this point. I won't take anything Dana, Conor or Floyd say with a grain of salt.
I'll take whatever they say with a grain of - it being geared towards generating hype for the fight to make said fight as big as possible.

Dana White doesn't like boxing and often makes snide remarks about the sport. I assume it's because boxing is a competitor to pro MMA and journalists who cover boxing often disparage MMA.

Just a heads up, this is not true. He started out as an amateur boxer and used to work as a boxing promoter.
Quote:“All I cared about was boxing,” White said. “It’s all I thought about. I was literally obsessed with it. I quit my job because I wanted to be in the fight business. At one point, I truly believed that I wanted to be a fighter. And then one day, you realize that you’re not that guy. I wasn’t good enough to be a fighter. I didn’t have what it took. Mentally and emotionally, I feel like I wanted it worse than anybody. But then the day comes when you come to reality that you don’t have it.”
I went to watch a live WWE knock-off event in Beijing a few years ago. A girl I knew invited me and I have a rule where I never say no to trying something new.
I was blown away by how talented the wrestlers were. It was really 97% gymnastics and 3% fake wrestling.
If I had to bet money, I'd put it on these guys training a hell of a lot more than MMA fighters and the risk of serious injury being a lot higher.

Eh I'd say about the farthest they've gone feminism in WWE is making an all-girls Royal Rumble for the first time ever last night. But, anyone paying close attention could see it was much more of a gimmick than the men's because about 1/4 of the wrestlers were old Hall of Famers making an appearance to fill spots.
WWE doesn't really promote feminism in my opinion though because 95% of the girls have to be 8's and above to make it on television. Not to mention they wear make-up and sexy outfits wrestling. Plus, people know it's fake so it's feasible to see hot girls wrestling with each other, which most fans won't reject. WWE essentially plays into the guys' childhood fantasy of seeing hot girls in a cat fight or pillow fight.
As for Rousey, I think she'll be the Brock Lesnar of the women's division. A superstar for their side but I agree it'll create a divide for the women's division that they really didn't have before with outside superstars versus home grown talent. But, I do think with this Royal Rumble and Rousey's stardom, all of the girls should benefit financially with this creating an opportunity to give them more exposure. I've been casually following WWE for a few years and while die-hards love some of the female fighters, I think this year is the first they've really been excited about a big girl fight in Wrestlemania.

Pride was way better and harder.
All the good names and people worth watching UFC have long gone.
Connor McGregor is entertaining and comical at best.
Doesn't compare to when Tyson was knocking out fools into the first row.
I doubt UFC has failed, unless you're talking about just financially overvalued when it was sold.
MMA is superstar-driven. Like the NBA, only way more. These days superstars can create their own hype. Even if Pride is looking better now, it only takes a year or two for it to flip again, to the UFC or some other promoter.
One thing the UFC has, and this alone won't keep them on top or afloat, but one thing they do have is the generic trademark. To a lot of people UFC ~ MMA. They don't realize one is a type of sport, the other is a promotional company.
