Can someone please prove that India is not retarded in general? I've been seeing way too much stuff lately that makes it look like Ghandi was an asshole, and that these people might have suffered severe brain problems from mal-nutrition.

Example number one- I was playing a gig at a place owned and operated by people from India, and they didn't have my pay ready (which is the norm at most places). I almost got into a fight with the manager.

Example two - IRT

Example Three - a country that makes diving into shit a plausible way to make money.

You can't slap a label on a whole race.. We all know how that goes. I've had my fair share of problems with Indians but the same shit goes for people of my own fuckin race lol.

Makes me understand why there's so many recently immigrated Indians eager to do the jobs I regard as complete shit... It beats literally swimming in shit risking your life lol. A lot of these guys put themselves through school working for minimum wage and do a hell of a lot better then the majority of us born here..

I saw a show years ago about a ex military diver that dove into shit tanks to repair. He was in a full dry suit, and the decon procedures in place when exiting were impressive. Even then the risk of infection was high, and he was tested frequently for hep C among others. A big concern he had was getting his wife and kids sick. Dude was making a hell of a lot more than $6 per hour.

It's funny how we like to bitch about the Western World, but fuck, diving in shit water like that? I'll take feminism over that job in a heartbeat.

Nah, he has a very valid question, my parents would put the Amish to shame, as far as conformity to fucked up shit is concerned.
Poverty and corruption are symptoms, fucked up ethics are the disease.
That being said, putting all of us into one category is like saying that Egypt and Somalia are one race, I can assure you that they are most certainly not.
I'd say Swedes and Sicilians have more in common than any given Indian ethnic groups.

India is one of the few countries of the world, in which I have ZERO interest in visiting. Its not just poverty and corruption, but its also Hinduism on top of it all.

It was never one country, that was the problem, it's not really pagan, it's just where the Eastern religions started. (Western ones being the Abrahamic - Judaism, Christianity and Islam). The Brits were the first to fully conquer India from the Hindu Kush to Burma, from Kashmir to Sri Lanka. India's history is just weird as fuck, they've invented shit load of things but the caste system sort of kept the country in check, but when that was abolished, it's just led to more greed, corruption and even more poverty.
