Went out to a bar tonight a little far away from my place but met some cool people there. Started talking with a 7. She and I hit it off. There was a legit 8 but other dudes were swarming her so I focused on the 7. I bounced her to another bar. I was a little worried about logistics because I live quite a ways away from her. Then she suggested we split a cab home. Her place was not in my direction at all (I told her where I live). She paid for the cab, I asked if I could come up and use the restroom. Worked like a charm. Got into her place used the bathroom. Noticed a tampon wrapper in the trash but figured I'd maybe at least get a BJ out of the deal. Made a move and she pulls the, "I have a BF". I said, "cool", and left. Didn't even bother to get her number.

WTF did she think was going on? Why would I take a cab in the opposite direction and ask to come in if I wasn't looking for something more than good conversation?

Anyway, I'm not too bummed out about it. I've been on a streak lately and just got laid a few days ago so I'm not busting at the seams. Still annoying and my cab fare home was more than typical because I went out of the way to her place.

You should have pushed. Her words were "I have a bf", but her actions were quite different: she let you game her, she let you in her apartment... I'm quite sure it was a shit test and a last minute resistance.

Yeah man, at this point, keep pushing. Bluff that you've also got a gf. Say you're too tired to go and ask if you can sleep on the couch. Linger around making excuses until she's calling the police. When the cops are on their way, then you give up.

Hamster rationalization at work here. As long as she disclosed that she had a BF she now has plausible deniability that she did anything wrong. In her mind "I don't know what happened, I said I had a BF and I lost control after that." A great lesson learned.

Yeah... You were already in her pad... After the cab ride in the opposite direction... She knew where you lived...

You weren't there by accident. She just cleared her conscience by informing you she had a bf. You should've pushed after that, for sure.

I know in the past when a girl says that to me, it really takes the wind out of your sails. However, if you're in her apartment, she's definately down. It goes back to not listening to a girls words, but listening to her actions. Her words in this case were telling you to leave, but her actions were the opposite. Listen to the actions and plow through.

She knew what was going on. You just gave up after the boyfriend shit test. Classic rookie mistake. Women want to feel wanted. They need to see that you really want her. This is called

LAST MINUTE RESISTANCE

Get used to it because it happens even in the easiest lays.

She may very well have been looking for a way to get out from being with her boyfriend if she is bringing guys home from bars. Or more likely just didn't know what she wanted.

Ha. I looked at the thread title and didn't even realize this was my thread. I actually had to think for a bit to remember the girl I was writing about. That's the right attitude gentlemen: let them go as quickly as they come.
