Manhattan vs the other Boroughs & LA: LA may be just as bad in this department. Outside of the city (eg north of Bel Air, South of LAX, east of Downtown) your prospects start to decline dramatically, even though there are millions more people living in those outlying areas. Admittedly, I'm biased by my experience, but I rarely hear about people raving about anything beyond Pasadena. The Beach Cities have received very mixed reviews.

Attractiveness of the girls: Let's get one thing straight - we're here to fuck, not to ogle. We're not here to get pictures of us with hot girls so we can post them on facebook the next day and make our friends think we fucked them. The allure of 9s will wear off pretty quick when you can't touch them. Generally more 9s means it's easier to bang more attractive girls. But if the choice comes down to a city full of 8s that you can bang and a city full of 9s that you can't, guess which one wins hands down... I'm not saying that LA is one and NYC is the other - I don't know that it is. But it's what you can bang that matters.

Culture: This is pretty amorphous but... it seems like LA has the trashier version of everything New York has. New York has models and fashion shows, LA has... high end denim and Dov Charney. New York has Broadway, LA has... Hollywood. NY has top shelf restaurants, LA has... food trucks. NY has Central Park, LA has... Echo Park. NY has Ricans, LA has Mestizas.

One of the biggest factors in macking girls is how provincial the girls are, and how tight their local network is. The less provincial they are, the fewer people they're still hanging out with from college and high school, the easier it is to mack. I went to a shitty house party in OC recently, and most of the people knew each other from god damn high school. There was also a solid 8.5-9, blonde, thin, tall, dating a fairly average dude. This sort of thing happens when social circles are the main barrier to entry. NY will have the edge here, provided the girl is not some NY JAP or something.

I do know a guy who is Latino, and he swears up and down there are cute Latina girls, in places like Montebello; the middle class ones apparently don't stick around here. That may be 100% true, but I'm talking about the city of LA, including the Westside. You'll also find some educated, middle to upper class Latinas around sometimes, I've banged a couple.

While Latinos may comprise half the city's population, including the mayor, psychologically speaking, Latinos are about 5% of the population in the minds of (predominantly middle-upper class) whites in LA. Sort of how like whites in LA will tell you that 'no one' takes the bus, because the eclectic mix of poor, senile, retarded and traveling European people don't really figure as people in their mind. All this shit is the stuff you're not even supposed to notice or consciously think - you're supposed to stay in your own bubble and not notice.

Honestly, I've never felt the desire to live in NYC. I've spent a few days here and there there. People are packed in pretty tight, and you're constantly surrounded by riff-raff when you aren't in LA, unless you're broke. (NY people thinks this makes them hard, uh, no. And who gives a fuck? You wouldn't subject yourself to that shit if you didn't have to.)

Well illustrated. I was never able to understand how people seemed satisfied with NY, LA, other US urban shitholes and would speak highly of the quality of the people. Then I realized that they were classifying 75%+ of the population as non-human when forming their opinions. Those beer rep girls, if dressed in normal clothes with normal make-up, would not get a 2nd glance in a major European city (or even a decent US college town).

Great logistics, beach, dense, Models, International, great weather, great water temp, less competition, friendly competition, topless girls, high heels, skirts, feminine girls, better ratios (at least way better than LA) Great days, Better nights, late last call. And no state income tax. That extra $56,000 you save can buy you some cocktails and cabs.

I'm not saying they don't exist, I wouldn't know, it's just those aren't the type of places I go. I think DC clubbing - particularly hip-hop - is superior to LA. Even classic spots like the Century Club don't hold a candle to Dream/Love in DC's clubbing heyday.

I don't think you're giving the outer boroughs enough credit. Nowadays in some circles, Brooklyn has some ZIP codes that are almost as hip as some of the hot Manhattan neighborhoods. Additionally, if you like ethnic women, Queens is filled with a very diverse population of women from all over the globe. And the subway system that connects Queens & Brooklyn with Manhattan is still way better than any sort of public transit anywhere in the Los Angeles area.

Good looking white chicks in LA can be bitches since there are so few of them to go around relative to the general population of LA (LA is overwhelmingly non-white). Manhattan, on the other hand, is about half white, so white chicks there aren't as bitchy. Also, the gender ratio is in favor of men in Manhattan (more women than men), whereas the gender ratio is in favor of women in LA (more men than women).

Good call bro. A great combo would be for a New Yorker to utilize NYC in the warmer months and have a crash pad snowbird style in Miami Beach during the cold months. Not surprisingly, there are a ton of New Yorkers that move to Miami or visit Miami. I'm sure Miami's gonna get crazy with the upcoming Winter Music Conference. Just watch out for the bath salt consuming zombie face eaters, lol.

For sheer money making opportunities, however, Miami usually can't top NYC. That's why for some, having those two cities available as a combo pair might be key.

You really think last call is inconsequential? Man, I really disagree. Being FROM america and having had to experience it for years, I'm telling you, it is like a fucking DEATH KNELL. It makes game twice as hard. People can't get as drunk, or for as long, which is a key piece to night game.

I have been to Sharkeez several times, and regretted it each time. It was *never* that white on a regular weekend night. Waterman's next door can be though. In either case, and the South Bay generally, nearly all the cute white girls who show up have tons of friends nearby, and don't really entertain 'randos.' What you have left are the people who truck in. The girls that can be approached are often not worth approaching. Sharkeez is an appropriate name, given what a shark tank the joint is - one forum member went once and said he's never seen more aggressive guys.

+1. Very LA lay - we took a cab to one of our cars, drove to the other's, then followed the other home. She was super down, and we met around last call. Rarely close a girl that late.

I think what we are saying is nightgame and nightlife in LA sucks, which is why LA defenders are using code talk like "You just need to do Day Game and all other weird kinds of game in LA to make it cool!!!!"

(IE, people saying things like "You just need to use Upsidedown, Inverted Grocery Store Game with an R&B Twist in LA and it can be just as good as NYC, I swear!!!!"

And here is the difference of Day Game in LA vs NYC:

Tuth actually made a tactical error in bringing up Shakeez to make his case, and thus guaranteed himself to lose the argument.

I am kind of surprised that such a veteran like Tuth could have made such a rookie mistake. He must have had an off night last night (maybe it being Valentines), so all is forgiven.

Sharkeez might be one of the worst bars ever created by man. Anyone who goes there would be better off killing yourself.

We should get some of those colored dots on the males and females of some Sharkeez bar photos.

I bet they would be worse ratios than the infamous Ultra Bar in DC picture.
