Ms. Stranieri is a "Media Intern" at a small (<50) PR firm, Susan Davis International. I assume she has some other education, but she has not listed any of her degrees or qualifications on LinkedIn, which is curious given her work in PR.

Here we have a man of significant accomplishment, decent looks, charm, good salary, exotic/foreign appeal, and even some "gentlemanly" aspects like paying for a woman's meal.

Here we have a woman of no significant accomplishment (no matter, but this is DC), and slightly average looks, albeit chunky.

He is not good enough for her. Whatever part of her brain that is capable of reason is like a child compared to her fully developed adult hamster.

We see once again that there is absolutely no substitute for game in big American cities. I suspect we would get the same result in Boston, NYC, SF, and Chicago.

In DC, and other US cities, the product on its merits is not good enough. It must also be presented properly, and game is the shiny wrapping paper. A couple of notes...

Did someone ID check her? Her body says she is several years older.

Fabio has a lot of things going for him: he's bilingual, great job, probably great earnings, seems interesting from growing up in a different culture, good tipper, and didn't bicker about money. Add in the fact that he spoke Italian which seems to be something she was into and it still was not enough for her.

She is an "editor" which could mean anything including just being a glorified blogger.

A venue changes was also necessary, and no fatty foods; keep her lean and feed her wine. He also needed to kiss her at a minimum. None of that is a guarantee, but that is where he did not do enough.

This girl is a joke. As Menace pointed out she is an intern at a media firm. She might pull 45k and lives in a group house. She is a product of "group think". In the article she says she went out with her friend and all night they asked everyone they met if she should do the date lab. Can't think for herself.

Here is how you game her:

Find her in Dupont on Fri or Sat with her group in which she is a follower not a leader. Gain the trust of one of her friends, buy some shots. Her friends approve of you, they give her green light - SNL. Does not matter your job or degree to get in her pants, only if her circle will approve you.

100% correct. Minimum he should have went in for the kiss at the metro, not a phone number.

Agreed, even if he was impressed with her, he can't show show it. As soon as he gave her his approval the game was over.
