this is just a personal observation.

I had those experiences numerous times.

let's say you are talking to a girl whom you thought she was there with female friends. Actually her guy friend was getting a drink, went to the restroom or whatever.

A typical white guy will come up and just talk to her while ignoring me. You can tell he is annoyed.
Some guys would even talk to me. 'hey what's up', 'can I help you?' while grabbing her waist or giving out the vibe 'this is mine, fuck off'

Since she was there by herself at the moment in a bar, this is not my fault for talking to her. I would leave her anyways as soon as I find out she came with a guy. But this kind of 'protecting his property' behavior really annoys the fuck out of me.


Black guys act different. I talk to her for a while and I realize she was with this black guy. the black guy was chilling with his friends, knew about me but he just didn't care. At the end, she goes back to the Owner.
Some black guys even told me 'hey it's alright, talk to her'

he isn't afraid of her talking to other guys. he knows she would be back at the end.

I am sure guys like that will have different style of approach too.

You talking to a girl and her boyfriend getting all touchy and kissy all of a sudden is showing weakness and insecurity on his part. Why would that annoy you?

Just to add on.

If you're a Black guy with a girl, and you know she's into brothas, and you see a brotha with some swag trying to talk to her, then you see a potential threat.

But if it's just some dude with no swag at all, no threat at all.
