Ex: forum member buys a table. Forum member number 2 acts as the "host".

1. Rally up girls
2. Forum member 2 shows up early to event, however forum member number 1 is already in the club since he booked it under his name.
3. Forum member number 1 lines up shots at the table and leaves
4. Member 2 shows up with preset up list, he goes in and says "client is not here" oh we can hook you up with shots (talks into fake ear piece)
5. Head over to table take shots.... Grab forum member 1 game on?

Theres nothing like the interesting people you meet in big cities ---

I was out in an informal setting at somebody's apartment. It was my friends, a friend of his, and me. A small group of guys 4-5 guys just chilling, eating some junk food, smoking some cigarettes and light drinking.

We start chatting and its comes out that 1 of the guy is a promoter, who started promoting at 18 in Europe.

Heres the gist- he was into fashion in his mid teens, dated a model, got friendly w/her friends. Started hanging out w/them. Started promoting for them, flying them to Prague/Munich etc to party.

Came out to the states a few years ago. His ex-gf hooked up w/ some of her friends who tour the model circuit. Shit escalated. Hes now flying models across the country and the world to party w/rich and famous dudes.

He got hired for 1-off events for some events in NY (some CEO b-day posh party). Flew out 50-60 models from Italy, Spain, NY, LA, miami to party at some balling private event. Knows lots of club owners from S. America, NY, LA, Miami, Europe.

Im keeping it vague on purpose for privacy reasons. But, hes a cool dude and I met him in an informal setting through close friends. Despite all this, hes a very cool, humble, collected guy.

Have you guys ever heard of things like this? ---I've grown up in a privileged environment, but this is a whole another level that I can barely even understand.

On a sidenote, the whole time hes mentioned this escapade and its a who's who of IMF- Industry, Money and Fame.

Sadly, all of this shit he recounts w/an even complexion and a slight frown. I get the underlying impression that hes sick of the life and the hassles that by proxy with dealing w/a throng of model-beautiful women and sycophantic hanger-ons that orbit around this crowd and rarefied crust of society.

I wont lie that I am JEALOUS of this dude, but honestly I am truly happy for him and the access it has brought for him. If anything, things like this make you truly step your game up.

I met some promoters from Spain once and it sounds a lot like what you're describing. I met them at a nightclub (The Kress haha) and they were like, "WTF is wrong with L.A." They hadn't been here too much but I got their contact info, did some references, and sure enough they were some of the biggest promoters in Ibiza. Been meaning to go just to party with those guys. Their facebook page was them hanging out with some of the hottest looking girls I've ever seen.

This is Pareto's principle at work. It's like extreme capitalism. You have a small number of well-connected men making incredible amounts of money that make average men scratch their heads. They may not even necessarily work harder than an average man, they just have access to resources that most men don't. Same with the hottest women.

McQueen's story is cool, but not sure what I can really take away from this unless I'm well-connected with Hollywood types.

I've seen many similar posts on CL in different cities, but what appear to be girls getting paid for promoting a club. However, since you mentioned it works best for celebrities, why wouldn't girls want to get in a club free and get free drinks of it was for a random rich guy?
It is a pretty good idea, how frequently does this happen and at how many clubs? I'm thinking maybe it could be made automated into a pussy-funnel system.

I'm also trying to an understanding of this scene and how it works. I have heard about this scene but don't have any experience at all in it.

Is he going up to or contacting rich, well-off people and saying "Heyy, I got some girls who are down to party I can send your way..."

Or people go up to him and say "Heyy, I know you know some second rate models who aren't getting any gigs and would jump at a chance to make some money and party with the rich crowd...I'm throwing a party and I need to 'decorate' the place with pretty girls."

I must admit I am completely clueless to the club scene but fascinated after reading that post. What does a promoter do? How does one become a promoter? What type of bank do you make promoting? Do models really get flown around the world to party?

I'm guessing it's more than just putting in the hours as a street promoter where you meet hi-rollers/big-ballers here & there out in the streets (say Vegas), then compiling a 'black book list' of these hi-rollers. Imagine how that changes the dynamics... For a b-day gala, 200k+parties are not unheard of. What another 40k to ship some models from the world runway circuit in- pennies. Promoting= dealing w/loads of flaky bimbos, insecure rich betas (who equate paying money for bottles to mean instant-sex), suck-ups, and social climbers. Its a grimy scene and def. not for everybody (like Mcqueen has said many times).

Thats why Id rather be normal, make friends w/the promoter than hound this dude for access. Annoying as hell to have people nag you.

I was smoking cigarettes w/one of the promoters after the club closed. Hes telling me how some girl left her purse on the steps leading up to dancefloor for 4 hours. Then she started flipping out about how somebody stole her purse.
