As much as we complain about women today. It would serve us well to understand that men, other men, have created them and continue to do so. We ourselves may even be some of these men. How do we do this? Simply by spoiling our daughters rotten.

I recently went to the birthday of my 9 yr old niece. I shudder to imagine what these girls would be like when they grow up. They are already so spoiled and entitled it's hard to imagine how much worse it could get. And who is a major contribute to this? My brother and all of the other fathers. For the past two generations and continuing today, fathers and step fathers have been spoiling their daughters to an extent never before seen in history. In doing so, our fathers and grandfathers have created the hell we living in today. And the men of today are hell bent on outdoing them. In this way we or our fellow men are the creators of our own hell and worse nightmare: the "modern" American woman.

Easy, the ones that weren't spoiled felt it was a role they should aspire to. I looked at the other girls in that party as some of them looked on with envy at my niece. Their fathers did not have the means to spoil them as much as my brother spoiled his daughter but it doesn't mean they weren't going to try their uttermost to be just like her and I can't blame them.

Yes, men are the main cause of this, but not ordinary dudes.

Men from your western elite are spoiling women and using privileges to make them above average dude so, when the hypergamy strikes, all the women will turn to the men with higher status, which would be the elite.

Average dudes get frustrated, they kill other average dudes because they can't get to the elite, end the elite remains in demand even more because of shortage of men. If they don't kill each other, they compete for women giving them egos the size of sun which can only be satisfied by having the man from - the elite.

And we who aspire to be pussy slayers benefit sexually from supporting that system, but we don't benefit from it when the time comes to have a healthy family and raise the kids, because we will not be able to save our kids from devastating impact of culture.

So we are to blame equally, not just the feminists.

I know a lot of mothers who give their daughters advice on how to land "a real man". Like what they should expect, how much money the guy should be making, how big the wedding should be, what kind of car he should drive, how frequently he should pick up the tab, how he should address her little princess verbally, shit like that. No doubt the daughters respond to the hamster (no amount of advice will shape who these girls are attracted to) but it does foster an entitled bitchy mentality.

The book "The Narcissism Epidemic" draws the same conclusion as Nomad77 and has tons of actual studies and data backing up the claim that permissive/ spoiling parenting creates narcissistic individuals (along with commercials and easy credit) on an epic scale. The authors also clearly demonstrate that these traits are more common in females than males... The book was a real eye-opener for me (if anyone wants a free copy, please pm me).

Women by nature tend to "marry up." This is exacerbated in the middle classes, where materialism and status one-upsmanship, along with social climbing, are the norm. Most girls we associate with are middle class in the West, because in the US, true old money elites are rare and tend not to associate or socialize in the same places as everyone else, and thanks to the last century of prosperity, there is no true "lower class" anymore (think peasant farmers.) Even trailer park dwellers live in relative comfort and have TVs, cell phones, etc. It's engrained in Westerners to be unhappy with the status quo, to try to live "higher" than their parents did, and so forth.

Do you think part of the problem lies in the fact that Americans teach young women to be strong and independent, rather than refined and ladylike?

It seems like there's a generation of people where the men are taught to be self-sacrificing gentlemen, but the women are taught to be abrasive and loud. If a guy is too pushy with a girl, people step in to stop him. If a girl is too pushy with a guy, people just smile at how cute they are together.

The men and women you see around you are just filling the roles that society makes available to them. Most people just do what seems natural.

Personally I don't want daughters.

From what I've seen, parents spoil both girls and boys today. My nephews are indulged beyond belief. Even my folks are complaining about this, and grandparents are usually the ones who spoil the kids, not complain about it.

That said, I have a bigger problem with the parents raising their girls as boys. Play sports, go to college, get ahead, compete with guys! Combine this with them being spoiled, and I think this is why we have such problems today between the sexes. A lot of women don't seem to get their not men --- and I'm not just talking about their masculine tattoos.

Women are encouraged by pretty much all of society to act like men. Men are encouraged by pretty much all of society to act like women. Feminine women and masculine men are ridiculed. Social pressure and active brainwashing are very effective behavior modifiers, and so the end result is bitchy, maladjusted girls and pathetic, simpering men. Throw in unheard-of levels of material comfort, so that men and women don't *need* to fulfill their natural roles or be particularly disciplined or virtuous anymore because most everyone has a surplus of food, shelter, and amusements, and you have the modern world.

I've seen teenage guys and girls driving around in $25,000+ cars. What do you think this does to kids? It turns them into little turds who never appreciate shit in life and look down on everyone around them. Multiply that times a million for girls since they coast through the years with everything handed to them. I think you're right Nomad. Even girls who weren't spoiled like this somehow feel they deserve all this shit they see around for them for simply being alive and looking good.

They don't even have to look good they just have to be alive. Their mentality is that if their friends are getting it they are entitled to get it too and in a way I don't blame them. The logic is, if my friends parents are giving them all this stuff then why shouldn't I expect to get it too from my parents.

I think it is inevitable in a wealthy society that people will spoil their kids and pets. Boys get corrupted as well but this is tempered by the fact that society still looks down on men who don't support themselves and that men don't usually have the option of finding a replacement for mommy and daddy through marriage.
