Fathers
I'm curious to know what everyone here's father is like. My dad is pretty alpha in in his attitude and how he deals with women (beta in other parts of his life I believe), and despite having a crazy childhood, he's always been very supportive in substantive way and I feel a deep connection to him. He is still alive but is getting older, and I often think about what it's going to be like when he passes away.

RE: Fathers
My dad is a straight-shooting, no-bullshitting, alpha male. Claims his lifetime notch count is around 250. He's slowed down over the last decade, but when I was about twelve or thirteen, he had an attractive 25 yr. old woman living with him.

Like most natural males though, there's one woman that is "the one that got away." That would be my mother. They divorced not too long after I was born, but now get along well enough to have civil conversation.

I could write extensively here but that would take a long while - the man's stories are enough to fill what would be several highly entertaining books. I'm glad he's my father.

RE: Fathers
My dad is one of the greatest naturals I have ever seen. After getting divorced from my mother (also he fought and got custody of me), he went on a tear, the likes of which I have never seen. 18 year old after 18 year old 9s and 10s, for years. He is not even tall, only about 5-9. Not rich. Now married to quite a looker.

There's a lot to be learned from a natural. They naturally pass every shit test, ignore hysterical emotions, etc. Still consistently runs jealousy plot lines.

Do you wish he would have cheated on your mom?

As a child would you actually prefer a playboy father with a divorced mother over a stable and secure two-parent family?

Did your father also have a weak personality, did he allowed you mom to boss him around? Or the mare fact that he was faithful is enough to label him as a beta in your eyes?

Would you label your father an alfa if the only thing that changed about him would be you discovering that he secretly cheated on your mom?

My own father was a beta, but for other reasons - out of shape couch potato kind of guy who loves comfort and hates to challenge himself. I would never call him a beta merely because he didn't cheat on my mom, I am actually grateful that my parents both have remained faithful and are not divorced. My father was still the boss in our home and while there were arguments from time to time my mother generally submitted to him. I would call him alfa if he would have been in sports or busyness and if he would have led me to these things from an early age. Alas he didn't so I am learning now.
