I don't know about the wines and sodas but green tea whiskey is good. It goes great with tako. Try it.

It is, but the rule is that you must drink what is in your glass. There are no rules to "zakusivat" (i.e. eat zakuska) when you drink - although you'd pass out much faster if you didn't.
BTW, zakuska is not necessary appetizers. A popular one is picked cucumbers, tomatoes or cabbage.

No, its terrible. Any whiskey worth drinking should be drank straight or on the rocks. The one exception to this is JD and Coke. Chinese mix Chivas and Johnny Walker Black and Red labels with green tea. There are also some random clubs with random crap whiskey i have never heard of. Mix in the fact that at least 1/2 the time top shelf stuff is counterfeited, whiskey isnt worth drinking in a club or out period, unless to know the management well. These aren't worth drinking period, no matter what you mix with them.

And every tried Vodka and green tea? It is the worst thing ever. Also, Chinese like to drink red wine with ice cubes in it. Its almost as bad as beer with coke in it. O_o

I get you though. I was out gaming hostess girls at the most Chinese karaoke bar in Honolulu the other night. Some old guy at the bar was drinking Johnny Walker Gold and champagne.

Some of the Asian type traditions you gotta let go and not try to figure out. You'll get a headache. The music the girls listen to is what blows my mind. Its the pack mentality. One does what the rest of them are doing.

All the wacky things make me love Asian girls so much more.
