I'm kind of going to elaborate a little on what Roosh posted about his good looking friend getting action easier in Brazil.

Last night I went out with a kid who is a male model (I know, that's a little homo). We had just gotten into a bar. I look over at two girls. One is really good looking, the other is just okay. I ask my friend, "Do you think they are with those guys right there? I'm going to wait a second and see, if not I'm going to talk to them, are you coming with me?" My friend replys, "Do you know how fast they are going to shut us down?" I told him that that was his downfall. "Do you know how many more girls you would bang if you weren't such a pussy. Yeah, those girl probably will reject us, but I'll try that on 6 girls that look like that, and one of them won't reject me." And think about how much less he would probably get rejected than me with his looks. At least if he doesn't have game, the girl is probably going to give him a little extra time than me. Some girls just won't give you the time of day if you don't have the looks. He just isn't comfortable with being rejected. He has too much pride, he feels like it's going to hurt his ego. He still ended up doing better than me that night. I actually went up and started talking to some girls, who happened to be with guys. Me and one of the dudes get to talking for a minute, because it turns out he's from a town close to where I live now (I'm on Vaca in Vegas right now). He tells me the girls are single, and just friends of his from Iowa. Turns out they're strippers. So I start talking up the girls a little more. One of them looks over and sees my friends and starts grinding up on him and then proceeds to make out with him. They were almost too drunk to even try and run game on anyways, but man, what a son of a bitch. I do all the work and he gets the results. That's just how he pulls. But you know what, I've banged hotter girls than he has, because when I see a girl I think is hot, I go for her. When he does, he waits for her to approach or for an "ideal approach scenario". That only happens for him so often, and probably not to the ones he really wants. Yeah, he'll give it a try here and there, but probably only 1 to my 8 or 9. But then again, I guess that works out for him. He doesn't get rejected and still gets laid. I get rejected way more, but probably also get laid a little more.

Good looking guys don't have to work as hard. If your average looking your Game has to be stronger. I really appreiciate average looking guys with strong game. Those are the guys you can learn from.

For sure. It's awesome being an average looking guy walking around with a hotter girl than your good looking friends have as well. In Brazil everyone was pissed my girl was hotter than theirs and she didn't even speak english and I spoke only decent Portuguese.

Most guys I know who have a significant other met them the "easy" way, through friends, got introduced, or online, or through work or something like that. One dude I know has had two serious girlfriends in his life. Both of them were rebound girls who previously dated one of his boys. One good buddy of mine is married, got a fair amount of girls when he was active, but his wife he met on match.com. One of my other boys, he's married now, met his girl on the job, he works at a hospital and there's lots of nurses of course. And prior to that, just about all the girls he was dating were girls he met on the job. Another guy I know had a one-itis for the last 10 years. He just kept chiseling away at her for a decade and I never saw him date much at all. I guess it paid off, he finally got her. Another buddy of mine had a long term thing, she was an old friend he hadn't seen in years, but they met again in a class he was taking. My dad met my mom because he was friends with her sister. I can go on and on down the list and few dudes are meeting girls cold out in the field. Cold approaching is THE most challenging way to go about it and hardly any guys I know would just walk up to a girl on the street that they found attractive and try to run some game. Maybe one dude I know does that. Everyone else depends on their social network for dates. So not only is GOOD game uncommon, but *ANY* type of cold approach game ran on girls outside of your network is uncommon.

Agreed 100%. I will admit, A LOT of 9's I've been with I had met through friends. I almost want to say close to 60% of my top 10% girls were met through friends, and there is nothing wrong with that. It does pay to have a lot of friends, and even better to hang out with lots of diferent crouds, that way when you do meet the friend and something goes sour, not everyone is going to know about it. I mean when your game imrpoves, it also helps you with these aspects because you get better with people all around. If you can spark up an hour long conversation with a mega hottie, I doubt it's going to be very hard for you to do the same with some average Joe that you share similar interests with.

As a matter of fact just got a call from my best friends girlfriend who is hanging out with a gorgeous friend of hers I've been wondering about, but haven't mentioned anything about it to her. She wants me to go over and hang out with them and get drunk by the pool. Couldn't think of any other reason she would have called me to hang out unless her friend mentioned something (Because me and my friends girlfriend were having a convo back and forth on facebook). Me and her are cool, but we don't hang out really unless I'm with my friend. At least we never have before, we'll see what happens.

A good friend of mine i met in Germany who is really really good looking pretty much came out and told me that he was shy to talk to girls. He just let the girls come to him. He went home every weekend with a different one, but he never really had much of a choice, other then the shallow sluts who only talk to handsome guys. That is where i think game is important. It gives the player the choice of what to shoot for. And i would rather have a hard pick up on a girl i want then stuck fishing in a barrel for the easy girls.

Looks matter enormously everywhere. Personally from what I can see I think this stuff about "game" overcoming is a bit delusional. I think realistically you can use game to clean up within your league, but you're not going to jump into a higher league.

A $5 mil plus account can catapult you up, but even then I'd worry about her riding the pool boy's baloney pony.

These guys who talk about how game can change everything are all 6'1 former nerds or former nerds who hang out with and write about rock stars. Ever notice that? Find me a 5'6 waif with a decent but unexciting job using game to bang really hot chicks and I'll buy it.

Hoobie is short as hell (people joke that he's five foot nothing, but I think it's closer to 5'4), and before he got into game and became an RSD instructor he was a huuuuuuuuuge nerd. He told a story about how when he immigrated to Australia with his family, he would just go into bathroom stalls during school lunch and read books by himself. I think he was an IT guy. I feel what you're saying about the nerds, but it's amazing how much a new wardrobe, a new haircut, some time at the gym, and a new attitude can change things.

People don't seem to understand the game. The game is not a set of canned responses and magic keys to pussy. 75% of all the things you learn in learning the game is making yourself a more intersting person and how to display it. Sure there is some technical information, but there are no hard and fast rules, no matter how much anyone says X gets me laid every time (barring roofies). Hell i break the hard and fast rules about 50% of the time and still get girls and get laid just as often as i would have if i didnt. The game is a lifestyle of being of higher value, building self esteem, and conversational, interpersonal, and observational skills. Simply put, its the mentality of being the best, most sexual, human you can be, and how to develop it. Thus in its own, it is impossible to compare your success to others in any real objective kind of way.

It's not that uncommon to see a mediocre looking guy with a hot girl.

I understand you, but I'm asserting that male physical appearance matters way more than people are acknowledging, and there is very little an individual can do about it. A wardrobe and conversational skills are simply not going to compensate for being under 5'7 or having a weak chin to the extent one will fuck 9s. If you want to limit your game, fine for me, more 9s for me to game. Really, looks are good for first impressions, and with dress and style you can overcome almost anything. Weak chin? Beard it. Short? Wear dress shoes to make you taller. Acne? See a doctor. Dress you your strengths and downplay your weaknesses, and with good conversation, you already set yourself ahead of the pack.

Now by no means am i saying i get every 9 i game, but it has happened in the past. Just think about how many guys will try to talk to these girls. If your opener and personality set you apart from 90% of the guys, looks like a 9 level guy for me. The fact is, these girls settle all the time for something beneath them, for a fat wallet, or the model guy, but at the end of the day, they are just like every other girl, with the same basic desires to eat, sleep, and fuck, and hot girls are famous for screwing around with the pool guy or the Gardner. Why should she be out of your league? Unless you don't value yourself more than the hired help.

I've seen too many ugly dudes bang way too many hot chicks to say game doesn't work. It's mostly confidence and willingness to try really. One of my best friends is dog ugly, but he doesn't give a fuck and still has fucked over 100 girls and also has had a girlfriend basically since he was 17 and is now 22. I can think of so many cases of ugly guys with hot girls.

I would have to agree with all that was said but, the worse looking you are the tighter your game has to do be. We're talking about Cajun tight game, if not higher. Which can take a good 3 years+

There are some cheating factors- muscles(unless you over do it), change of wardrobe, facial hair.

Yeah, but don't forget the flipside. For every shy good looking dude, there's tons of player types who have that mischievous smirk, who hook up with chicks just simply using their eyes and body language. If you're a truly good looking guy, and you're in a decently social life, you'll have tons of opportunities and in the right situations, women will approach you or make their interest known. It's just the antisocial, stay at home, have few friends types that will not do as well. All in all, still better to be good looking and have good game-- plus yes the cheesy lines can work better if you look good. Same thing holds true for really hot women.

It sucked so bad when my cousin with his good looks would get approached by girls left and right. He also has game, so he pretty much got any girl he wanted. Thank god he's in a serious relationship, more girls for me.
