Use all natural facial moisturizer, the best ones will have ingredients such as Vitamin A, C, E, hyaluronic acid, COQ10....

Eat a healthy balanced diet, making sure you eat enough fresh fruits and vegetables.

Which one do you recommend?

I've used a few that I liked, but this one is definitely one of my favorites:

Honest to Fowler if you drink around 4 litres of water a day you'll notice a different. You want your bladder filling to the brim before you go for a piss and you'll piss a lot during the day. You want it to be clear piss and you'll be shooting it out and you will feel clean. After a few days doing that you'll notice a positive difference in your skin tone.

Have you ever looked into vitamins or eating certain foods? Taking care of your skin externally can only go so far.

RE: A good skin care routine for your face?
I'm 33 and have begun concentrating on my face just like you. Some good suggestions in this thread, but I'll give you my skin-care protocol for a different angle on things:

1) My face oil has diminished substantially over the last year. I don't know what caused it, if it's age-related or because I switched to intermittent fasting combined with bulletproof coffee and reduced carb-intake. Regardless, I've been using this face wash for the last three years and really like it. Gentle on the face, gets rid of all oil, and I rarely get any zits:

2) If I get a zit, I'll use this face wash. It zaps them pretty quickly:

http://www.amazon.com/Clean-Clear-ADVANT...+and+clear

3) This product will take at least five years off your face after using. The short-term effect is that you look a lot younger; the long-term effect is that it heals and preserve your skin.

I cake the Intense Gel R-ALA on my face and leave it on for a minimum of two hours. Thereafter my face glows, everything's tighter, and pores are reduced. Also, it slowly reduces red marks from previous scars. It's an all-natural product made by a Native American company. I have no idea how they stumbled upon this recipe, but it works. I've been using it for five years.

I used to apply this before going out to game, and young girls thought I was around 23. If I don't apply it that day people think I'm around 28.

The drawbacks are that you have to have this face mask on for two hours, it's gooey, and the bottles are very pricey. But if you've got the cash and want to appear younger for the ladies, I have found no better product out there:

Intense Gel R-ALA

4) On the days that I don't use the Intense Gel R-ALA I use an eye cream. It firms up on the skin around the orbital sockets, making you look younger.

This one came highly recommended on Amazon. I've been using it for a month now and it does firm up the skin around the eye area. Black circles are slightly diminished, but I still see mine. A little goes a long way: this tiny bottle will last you a min. of six months:

Kiehl's Avocado Eye Cream

Try adding a pinch of powdered vitamin C to the coconut oil. Especially after shaving. You can buy the powdered vit C at trader Joes.

I haven't the best facial skin. I've had a lot of sun damage over the years but always use strong sun lotion these days. I also have mild rosacea, though it will likely worsen with age unfortunately.

I've always moisturised after a shower - general a splash of any old moisturizer, from Oil of Olay to some sun lotion. Whatever is going.

I have fairly dry skin in the face.

I'm thinking it's time get a proper face care routine going as I am going into the other side of 25, for the long term benefit that is.

Anyone any tips?

I'm looking at:

Also, should I get an eye cream or a night cream also?

Cheers

Use PURE vitamin E on your face after you wash it. YOu know those vitamin E supplements? Yup, use one or two on your face as well. Smile When you shower use a Vitamin C shower head filter as well. Also the type of soap you use to wash matters as well. I use natural cucumber soap. Also for under the eyes. PURE SHEA BUTTER after you shower underneath the eyes. Put the Vitamin E on first then the Shea Butter underneath the eyes. The stuff will absorb in your skin over night. Smile

Drink lots of purified water, and don't over expose your skin to the sun.

As a teenager I think I can give some insight.
I wash my face every morning and evening with liquid soap. It washes off the germs and dries out the existing spots, has worked wonders for me. After that I use skin cleanser and moisturizer.
Also I use a facial scrub 2-3 times a week.

Brands I'd recommend:
bulldog
clinique
men-u

You can shop at online stores like boots and feel unique, they have a wide assortment of products at good prices

Everyone has different faces. There's not one cure all method for everyone or else no one in the world would have pimples. I already said there's a 4 page thread on all of this.

Ask a dermatologist. Regular microdermabrasion or glycolic peels will be a strong positive for most skin types (removes blemishes, fades scars, lessens and prevents wrinkles).
