G, thanks for the response. At this point, I'm ready to cross Cabo off the list. Mazatlan seems the better option of the two left since it is almost twice bigger population-wise than PV which might translate to better nightlife and selection. The one downside is that it might have more narco violence than PV since it's closer to Culiacan.

Can you provide more detail in these streetfights in PV and Playa? Are these locals or other tourists?

I've been to Playa three times already. I'll def go again but would like to try something different for now.

In Puerto Vallarta it was with locals.

In Playa del Carmen it was a Mexican cat, but I don't know if he was local or a tourist.

Honestly both times I got really unlucky. Wrong place at wrong time.

I don't think it is common in either place.

I have a tendency to have a million to one shots work against me.

I've gotten into brush-ins with locals both in Lima & Medellin. No punches thrown in either. Both incidents involved somewhat drunk/belligerent random guys who backed down when I held my ground, squared off against them and showed that I was down to fight.

Both incidents were one-offs/isolated cases so I would like to think as you say, wrong place at the wrong time. Just the risk of being out in public where people are drunk.

Yeah, it is bound to happen every now and again if you roll out at night solo.

I don't think this really addresses your question directly, but from all the Narcos (men) I've seen they tend to dress a certain way, snake skin boots, designer jeans, black button down shirt tucked in, big belt buckle, gold ring/chains, and cowboy hat. This is kind of a vague description and probably doesn't always apply, but I'd probably try to avoid guys that look like that, and try not to hit on any chicks in their mixed sets.

Ya, I have a huge thing for really Mexican girls, so other than El Cid, I usually just did social circle game with friends of my very red pill friend I went with. Actually, he has more game than me so all I had to do was show up with blonde hair and blue eyes and was already social proofed to the max. We went to a few of the touristy places, and they are hit or miss. El Cid had some gringas getting wasted for the day from a cruise ship, they seemed really slutty.

But then we went to a chain place, I can’t remember if it was sr frogs or not, and it was completely empty, and the servers who are hot Mexicans are literally just working you for tips. And they fuckin hustle. I went the dick route and started asking how much I had to tip to breathe. Of the few that understood my sarcasm, most hated me for it but one was totally into it. Unfortunately I only got a quick make out and could not number close bc of a “BF” who I don’t know if he really existed. And this was me working overtime hard hard and not slipping up at all. So I say avoid those places, just not worth it and your time could be much more productive. Not to mention there is like a 300% mark up on everything.

While SNLs are not impossible, they happen probably more than you think, I would suggest lots of day gamming and letting them know in subtle ways that you are going to be there for a while, so they know you aren’t out after 3 or 4 days. Tell them you can’t believe how much you like Mexico, and then tell her that she is going to show you some of her favorite places to go out. Tell her, don’t ask her. Be aggressive though and keep the frame, she might test you with some (a lot) of resistance. But Mexican chicks LOVE to be told what to do. Some point during the night, tell her she is going to help you with Spanish. Basically have fun and boss her around, but be funny about it. One of my favorite things is once enough rapport is built and she’s diggin you, I will spank them firmly if they say something I don’t like. But don’t make it sexual and act like it didn’t happen, eventually she will buy into your frame. Then she’ll do the same thing again a little later "testing" you. Spank her a little more aggressively, but your attitude is passive. Seriously just be confident about everything and always make her buy into YOU. If she’s into you, she will loooove to submit to you and she will thank you later for it. So stuff like that. Have fun with it.

One last thing, if your eyes are any other color than brown, do 50000% more eye contact than normal. I mean never ever break it until she does, and even then keep going. Ive gone a couple min just staring, it will feel really weird at first, like an eternity, but it is HUGE. You will start to literally see and feel her getting big time attracted.

Thank you for the tips amigo. I'm fairly red pill myself and it's natural for me to lead in my interactions with girls, but I had to read that a couple of times to let it soak in. I do think that these moves are in the 'double edged sword' category so I tend to build it up over time and as you mention, with a healthy dose of confidence and humor/lightheartedness. And I lot of what you said def falls in line with my game plan (daygaming, talk long-term, etc) so it's good to know that I'm on the right track.

I hear ya. These chain spots & tourist party places are basically gringo killing zones for the servers. I was at a pool party in cancun last year. It was all you can drink with the paid cover w/ bracelet, yet the servers refused to bring more bottles unless we tipped them each time. They're probably used to typical gringo tourists getting drunk and getting loose with their money.

I did game this fly bartender. I asked her "Eres soltera?". She said "Tengo novio" but also followed it with "..pero no estoy casado" with a smile so I knew she was open for it. Told her I wanted to take her on a picnic to this upscale beach and she ended up giving me her email, phone # and FB acct.

** Update **

I've been looking at airfare and the price to Cabo is literally one third the fare to Mazatlan. It's like $130 to Cabo vs $375 to Maz. Anyone know a cheap fare from Cabo to Maz?

Yes it took me a while to train myself to NEVER look away, they love looking at eyes that they dont see everyday...Almost every single mexican has brown eyes, plus its a form of dominance in a way. But it will feel REALLY weird at first, just make yourself do it.

I had the exact same experiance in Cancun. We paid like 60 bucks for all you can drink but the servers literally said they wont get us drinks until we tipped. We actually ended up complaining to the manager (we were taddle tales) and ended up getting drinks whenever we wanted to after that.

I still say stay away from Cabo, you will be disappointed, and the money you save on the flight will be wasted as Cabo is super expensive and Maz can be super cheap. Maz is huge man, compared to Cabo.

Those numbers are quite telling. At this point, I'm def sold on Maz. Do you have the 411 on short term apartment rentals? Any info would def be helpful, not just for me but for other members as well, since it looks like Maz be the the Playa del Carmen of the Mexican west coast..or would that statement be giving Maz too much credit?
