^ Not when 50% of the country are entitled Takers being coddled by and pandered to by the political elite. Why work your ass off to support feminists and riff raff who hate your guts and consider you their personal slave because you're a man with drive and ambition? At some point this whole scheme falls apart mathematically and then real chaos erupts. That's why they're trying to get everyone's guns away from them first.

I suggest you learn how to dig ditches and graves, there will be a big market in that.

is it wrong for me to want austerity? after years of living in 2nd, 3rd world countries i cant wait to see how poor americans will live with out government assitance.

Exactly, except that its just not poor Americans who live with government assistance.

Much of the so called middle class and even upper classes live off of government handouts:

- most of those white collar finance jobs would no longer exist without government bailouts
- all those federal/state workers : a good 50% of whose jobs are pure waste
- all those military personnel and civilian affiliated - from bloated budgets,
-all those military/security/ industrial complex/contractors - from bloated government budgets......
-all those billions to farm subsidies, education, etc....

the facts is that most of society is sucking on the giant teat of government - .... the so called middle class and much of the upper classes in particular....

I am not concerned with the poor - as they are used to living without - and can adapt.

I am worried about the so called middle class - who thought they were special and different - only to realize that their entire lifestyle was built on a fraud when the music stops and the checks dont clear - thats when you'll see the real violence - from likely disgruntled government workers and/or vets - who pensions and saving go up in smoke ...... as they surely will at some point.

Who really hates you are the super elite - the one who put in these socialist policies ..... in order to dissipate your wealth creation.

They don't want the competition and so sponsor every idea designed to prevent and stymie wealth creation from the aspirational classes - think the Rockefellers, Mellons, DuPonts, Rothschild, .....the real elite. They despise you and use the feminists and riff raff as tools to destroy you...... - they are the real enemy.

Remember socialism and communism has always benn supported and funded by the super elite - both ideologies are an elites dream - take wealth away from the 'bourgoisie' - the aspirational class and consolidate all power and ownership of capital through government....

remember who and what the true threat really is......

Agreed kdolo... there's nothing worse than these Harvard/Yale/Princeton political insiders who fail their way up the ladder. We have a Ruling Class as effective as anything the USSR ever had.

Government workers now make more $, have better benefits, more vacation and lower retirement ages than the private sector and it's only getting worse. They think the gravy train lasts forever but there ain't no more gravy. It's these entitled bureaucrats who will fall the hardest, all they know are their cushy, irrelevant government jobs. When they get handed a shovel and told to dig most of them are not going to make it.

@Houston - when the recession hit in 2008 the private sector melted down and the job losses were heavy, I don't know the exact number. The government used the trillion dollars in stimulus money to keep hiring government workers. We couldn't afford them to begin with, we can't pay for them now and we can't keep borrowing a trillion dollars a year for all the deadweight.

What's even worse is that the spending continues and even if they tax everyone at 100% we still can't afford all this government spending (federal and state). It's been five years, they haven't cut a penny, this shit can't last much longer.

The private sector's been in limbo for five years so the next heavy losses will come from the public sector.

This civilization is destroying itself the very same way dozens of others have throughout history. Once laws and power structures become too complex, too unfair towards the producing classes and the wrong incentives are in place ( welfare, Wic, sec 8 etc all favor procreation of the least capable and the most corrupt) a cleansing is in order to set things straight and restore an order more in accordance with natural laws.
So far our technology and efficient production have delayed the inevitable by keeping people quiet ( panem et circenses) but the storm will come. I wonder how the detritus of " diversity coordinators", HR professionals etc will fare then. Anyone with a useful profession, strength or skill will be fine. Even something as simple as learning how to prepare food, make moonshine, grow a garden can be enough.
I am not a " prepper" believing in sudden collapse but would not rule it out. In Greece some of the best off guys right now are farmers, doctors, dentists, craftspeople... if you can produce something of value there will always be a market through bartering.

I personally think we are on the brink of some very bad things happening if some MAJOR changes aren't made soon. The elitist know it too...as mentioned above thats why their so bent on disarming the public.
