Gender Arguments
A lot of people around where I live don't believe that male gender is more rigid than female gender. They think that guys can go gay/bi just as easily as women, and that gender is all a social construct etc.

What are the main scientific arguments against this? Please provide links to verified studies with evidence etc.

I'm sick of seeing the term "cis-male" to describe a regular straight guy on okc.

Well basically girls are more likely to be attention whores that are "gay" 'cause it's hip/their friends are doing it. Fairly sure the science behind that is bulletproof

being a bi girl can intrigue a man because it's more exclusive for his sperm, takes out half of his potential competitors. could be intriguing enough to overlook ugliness so it's not a bad strategy for an ugly female to go bi.

RE: Gender Arguments
gay males generally come out later than women, a lot of the time closer to the average marriage age. Conversely a lot of gay/bi females turn straight when it's time to make babies.

RE: Gender Arguments
(Let me preface this by saying that I think we need more masculine men in our culture.)

Hate to burst your bubble, but I remember reading about this stuff in my psych and sociology classes recently in college.

If gender wasn't fluid, how would we explain the systematic pussification of males that we all despise?

(What you're doing is trying to find data that supports your preconceived notion, which is a no-no in academia.)

What I remember is that this is in no way a black and white issue. Gender, in terms of behavior, can be deeply influenced by socialization.

When we talk about gender we must seperate it from sexuality. While you have gay men that come from conservative backgrounds, they still overwhelmingly identify themselves as male. In very much the same way, you may see liberals come from conservative backgrounds. You almost never, however, meet a Marxist who comes from the conservative South. Gay, masculine, men do not reject gender roles in the same way that the liberal does not reject capitalism.

Sexuality, on the other hand, seems to be less susceptible to influence. Most people know from a very young age whether they are straight or gay.
