I deleted my fb account about a year ago and I haven't looked back. It hasn't enriched my life one iota, and I think a lot of guys make false rationalizations as to why they have it. If you've gotten bangs from fb, great. But when I hear this shit about, "Well I just do it to keep in touch with friends..." BS. There's still the phone and email.

Anyway, think a conclusion could be made about fb usage and the level of attention whoring in that particular country?

U.S. 54% of the population on facebook
Iceland 73%
U.K. 53%
Australia 55%
Brazil 32%
Poland 25%
Russia 5%

Countries with more feminine, high quality women---> less social media attention-whoring? Coincidence?

That is fascinating actually. I deactivated (you must be more alpha than me going all the way and deleting ) mine on New Years Eve as I just realised its fucking pathetic attention whoring.

Not really.

Don't forget, women in Russia are on vkontakte, only girls with western ties and interests go to Facebook. Brazil has a huge number of Orkut users.

Most of the countries with low fb usage usually have stronger competitors. For instance, Russia has Odnoklassniki.ru and vKontakte and Im sure others have something similar.

Also, if you're trying to keep up with international friends, who you aren't likely to call on the phone due to cost, FB is an option. Sure, you can email or chat using another program, but FB allows you to do all of those things also, and you can even use cam there too, in real-time. I don't think it's necessary for anyone to have to sell their reasons for not being on FB, or maintaining a FB page. It's no one else's business. No one has to buy your reason.

Actually what I have found through traveling is how countries use facebook differently. For example, a girl I met in Ukraine who dressed up like girls do there, hot and slutty, looked just like Kiera Knightley. However, when I met her for drinks, she was really reserved, didnt drink any booze, barely spoke, just boring. But later when I she friended me on facebook, she had some of the most ridiculous photos I have seen. Naked in bed barely covering herself etc.

Another example, I couchsurfed with this dude in Egypt. And he was a cool dude, dive instructor, but when he was on facebook he would poke and message random girls who were friends of friends. I had to block him because I had random friends of mine asking wtf is this friend of yours poking me.

So the usage numbers are interesting, but how people use it culturally I think is even moreso.

I wouldn't say that the amount of women on facebook has anything to do with the quality of the ladies in that particular country. Serbia scores pretty high, with more than 46%, and yet Serbian girls are some of the most feminine, fun and good-looking women in Europe.

As correctly pointed out previously in this thread; The reason that Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and large parts of the FSU score such low rates, is because the main social networking site in the russian-speaking world is VKontakte.

This chart is however a good indicator of which nations that are either westernized or prone to westernization.

Girls post the most outrageously sexy pictures on vk.com, and often make them public. It is worth getting an account just for that.

But yes. Girls with the personalities of librarians will post pictures bordering on porn.
