If she says "I love you" can you respond in the same if you don't really mean it?

Interesting point. If women like thugs / mafia guys / bad boys etc...would lying be any different? If she knows / thinks / suspects you are lying won't that put the hamster into overdrive and increase her attraction towards you? Once she realizes you are honest and trust worthy do you become another beta in her eyes?

I generally avoid outright, bold faced lies because it can be easy to get caught. And then you've got to talk your way out of it. I'm not saying I won't do it, but it can make your work harder. OTOH, lies of omission (failure to tell the whole truth) are fair game, and they enhance you game as women seem to thrive on them.

Innocent lies (such as jokes and playful responses to trivial questions) is fine with me, but lying on a bigger level is something I try to avoid entirely and instead correct so I no longer have to lie about it.

The main reason being b/c if I have to lie about something, it means I'm agreeing that I'm not good enough as I am in that area. It creates a very negative self image IMO.

I also don't really get the "women lie so I am going to as well" b/c to me that is just allowing someone else to determine my morality.

I'll lie about my name and age. Even for a girl I'm serious about. Other than that I don't see any advantage in it, and have a longstanding belief that there is a general disadvantage.

Just as it's easiest to have alpha body posture if you have the backup of a genuine alpha lifestyle, it's easier to be believable if you have the backup of habitually telling the truth. We give extremely subtle body language cues that are not under our control. So the easiest way to control them is organically. It's an advantage to be taken seriously. Plus it helps me to keep my filing cabinets organized when my habit is to be persnickety about the truth.

I've been lied to straight to my face by many girls. They lie like so well you wonder if even they know that they are lying. That has nothing to do with my relationship to truth. I have my own relationship for my own reasons.

Oh - sometimes I lie about where I'm going and if I'm fucking other girls. I'm getting better at that. But even there it's easier just to refuse to answer questions.
