RE: Barcelona: Data Sheet
Wow great thread! I am thinking of spending some extended time in BCN. Few questions -

Are you banging mostly tourists or have you swooped Catalans?

Who has had a BAD experience in Barcelona and what would you do differently?

Who has had luck spending a long time in Barcelona, infiltrating a social circle, and having some mini-relationships with Catalans? What advice can you give?

I can say that Barcelona is a city that is good during all year(in summer the most tourists).

There are a lot of erasmus and exchange programs,au pairs..and mostly foreign people who just want to live and work over there

I know you just got there, but when you get the chance can you fill us in on how the nightgame spots are? New places and the like? There's some good data on Barcelona but a lot of it is getting a bit old.

Yeah I was gonna create an updated Data sheet when I have a bit more info, but I can do a preliminary update after 10 days of being in BCN. The places that have been good so far has been one-offs, for example on Sunday there was a random block party in Poblesec not far from where I live.

The first night I stumbled upon a pub crawl crowd in Poblesec, right next to Paral-lel station. I can't remember the name of the pub crawl, but they always tend to hang around the pubs around Paral-lel from 22.00 on Mondays. If the 18-22 crowd, beer bongs and annoying Italians and Americans are your thing then there are lots of slutty girls to be had. I would suggest to try to extract these girls early, since a bunch of 18-22 year olds and alcohol yields some predictable results. The thing that struck me was how aggressive the guys became after a while. There were literally 4-5 guys tugging, dragging, kissing etc on a single girl at times. It seemed to work for those guys though..

Last Wednesday I was at a newly opened pincho bar in Poblesec, literally 2 minutes from Poble sec station. I cannot remember the name of this place either, but there are a ton of bars in this area. This area isn't particularly touristy; this is where the native Catalans hangout. This means of course that you'll do better if you know Spanish and/or Catalan (I know neither currently). Anyways, at this place I found a British girl with her gang there. She was giving me strong IOIs and I thought I had the cat in the bag when I went back to her place. She and her friend were 'tired' so I went into their bedroom, but I didn't expect to be cockblocked so badly by her friend. She was pretty much screaming that her friend "had a boyfriend" and that she "didn't feel comfortable" by having me in the bedroom.

Last Friday went much better - I found a place called The Rooftop, which is just right by Vila Olympica station. This happens every Friday between 19.00 - 24.00. There is a good mixture of people, both natives and non-natives, and surprisingly high quality. I managed to get my Polish flag there (not on the same night though).

Club4 is a techno club by Placa Catalunya. Being an electronic club the ratios are kind of what one would expect - aka a sausage fest. I probably should have come earlier, but I still managed to get a jackpot there. Got my Italian flag (with a threesome!) there. This club goes on every Thursday.

Here's a minor update:

I think I found the closest place to Nirvana when it comes to perra calidad in BCN. FUCK Opium, Shoko and Carpe Diem (my experience with those clubs are that they're overpriced sausage fests anyway). Look no further than W Wet Deck, every Sunday. You need to be on the guest list, but once you're in it's great. And the music is not too bad either.

RE: Barcelona: Data Sheet
Update, August 2015:
I think Malalts de Festa is dead. I checked it out this weekend on Saturday, it was closed. Also want to note that the area was full of ghetto clubs that resembled something I'd see in East LA. It might have been good when the thread was posted but I presume that there is something much better now for locals.

I can give a thumbs up for Razzmatazz - great music if you're into electronic music, and good crowd but I concur it's skewed towards the younger crowd. It's a mix of locals and tourists, although the girls I spoke to were all tourists (I met Swedish, English, Polish).

I give a huge thumbs up to another post from another thread which has good comprehensive info:

I haven't been to Barcelona, but almost every girl from Catalonia that I met or fucked in London was a slut into fuck buddies and ONS.

RE: Barcelona: Data Sheet
I have been a few days in Barcelona now and I don't think it's that great.

1. It's an expensive city.
2. The quality of the girls are not anywhere close to other European countries e.g. Germany for example.
3. You have a language barrier even if you speak some Spanish (they speak Catalan there) and of course, the most beautiful girls don't speak English.
4. It's rare to find girls by themselves so day gaming is difficult. And in the night in clubs you are dealing with social groups and friends.

If you want to know the quality of local girls you will find in bar or club just walk around a crowded street or go to big mall. If you can't find a good ratio in a decent part of town (and I am basically in the center) then you won't find them in the bars and clubs.

Basically, you can't really judge a place by someone's opinion unless you actually know that person. Because, just like food, everyone will have a different level of what they consider good and what they like. For example, a guy on here mentioned Apolo and I went there last night (Thursday) and first, it's so dark you can't even see what the girls look like and from the ones going in from outside the quality was very average. You would be hard pressed to find a 7 in there. The best looking girls in Spain are actually the tourist. The local girls look and dress like your average looking American girl except they tend to have darker hair and look like Latin girls and they are not as fat.

And La Rambla is not nearly as dangerous as people on here seem to make it out to be. It's also where you will find a lot of tourist.

Then i learned catalan overnight without realizing it! Catalanes only speak catalan among them, all the people know castellano.

I am interested too. Not all the women in Germany are the same, it varies a lot with the regions/cities.

The only thing I can say is that you should go to a city for yourself and see if you like it. Everyone has a different taste in girls and the girls from different countries will respond differently to different guys. Also girls behave differently outside of a country than in it.

I went to Opium on the beach last night. Sure, the whole area on the beach is primarily a tourist area but still...the ratio was about 10 to 1! On the positive side, the guys don't have any game so if you can just approach and have a little game you can do well BUT you are still going to have to deal with groups and extracting the girl from her group.

Compared to what? It's obviously not Eastern Europe, but prices in general are about half compared to what you would pay in Stockholm, London, Amsterdam etc. I do grant that eating out is surprisingly expensive, but it's still generally cheaper than most European cities I've been in.

Thursday is probably the worst night for Apolo. That being said, you will not find 8's+ in a high concentration hardly anywhere in BCN, and definitely not now when the tourist season is coming to a close. It's hardly a secret that Catalan girls aren't so hot. The only place I've found lots of hot girls is W Wet Deck (comprised mainly of tourist girls obviously), and now that it's closed for the season I don't know where to go Sad

The appeal of the city is that you can bang sluts from all over Europe and Latin America without having to travel to all those countries. The only places I know of that you can find more variety in are NYC and London. Over the past 3 months I've banged Italian, German, French, Spanish, Catalan, Russian, Polish, Bosnian and Chilean.

It's all about the tourist/holiday makers to me..BCN chicas have major attitude now..due to so many tourist maybe.
When I speak to them I do get interest until they find out I don't live there. Then they get pissed off that I don't live there..I get it from foriegn chicks who live in BCN too..

When I first hit BCN in 95 the amount of eye fucking from Catalan girls in the street was enormous..Believe me shit was pornographic. But things change.
Other guys love SEA for me it's Spain..But I'm there for the tourist hotties.
This year I had to much work on..Next year though I'll be back.Seriously it's cheaper than Melbourne or Sydney for me to eat and drink there.Even in Marbella.Airbnb is also great .

RE: Barcelona: Data Sheet
I have spent one week in Barcelona this past September. It was my third time in the city. Here are my impressions from the clubs I visited.

- Club4: Actually the name of the club is City Hall, and Club4 is the name of the party that goes on every Thursday. It's located at Rambla de Catalunya. Music is not bad if you're into electronic, but the ratios are shit. Would only recommend this club if you're into blow, you probably can get it cheaper and better quality here than buying off the Moroccans at Barceloneta.

- Opium: I went here twice, once on a Friday-- closing party of Summer season, was really packed with W&W playing, and on a Tuesday-- empty, with the internal dancefloor closed, but still better than the other clubs by the beach. I would say this club has its pros and cons, the pros being: international crowd, wider age range (for me this is good because I don't like stepping into a club full of hostel backpackers), always some opportunities, and the setup if you're into posh venues. Cons: bad ratios (especially after 3 AM), expensive as fuck (8 euro Heineken bottle), and practically impossible to work without a wingman, as most people are in groups. Still one of the best clubs in Barcelona in terms of volume, every day of the week.

- Eclipse Bar at W Hotel: went here on a Saturday with a friend (who also happens to be a forum member). This was the best ratio I could find in the city (almost 50/50). Older crowd (25+), lots of hot cougars and hot women in the 25-30 range, some well dressed 30-something guys, a couple of 50 year old sponsors and their entourages, and a few pros. I think a good move if you're over 30 and have some money to burn, would be to book a room here for the weekend, hit this bar in the evenings and try to pull a girl back to your room. Probably the best it gets in terms of logistics in BCN.

- Apolo: I went on a Nasty Monday, which is supposed to be the best night. This was one of the worst ratios I have ever experienced in my lifetime. At 1 AM it was already bad (something like 75% guys), at 3 AM it was like 90% sausage. Young crowd as well. Enough said.

Overall: if you're visiting BCN for the short term, don't bother coming outside of the Summer months (Jun-Aug). In 2013 I have spent two days in the city in early August, and got much more action than this time. Visiting Barcelona in September is like entering a night club half an hour before closing time. You get that feeling of arriving too late to the party. There are still opportunities, but they are exponentially more scarce than in previous months, when all the horny tourists are in town. I talked to a forum member who lives there and he confirmed that feeling.

Of course, if you're there for the mid or long term, you will have time to get a social circle and develop a niche, and that should make your experience much better.

Great review!

I went to a club at the end of Las Ramblas, and it was full of easy girls there. I don't remember the name, tho.

Last time I was in Barcelona was 7 years ago, but will return next weekend.

Are there any recommendations on good restaurants outside the tourist (trap) beaten track, or classy bars to go with a classy russian lady?
Eclipse Bar seems interesting venue, how are the prices?

Note: Las Ramblas, no please.
