Anyone watching this game!!??

The stakes are high, this is prime-time! It's a gut wrencher, tied 7-7 at halftime, I can only imagine how people in D.C. are feeling right now.

I grew up a fanatical Redskins fan, and have kind of mellowed out on following sports, but with RG3 fucking shit up and their latest win streak, I've gotten back to my roots.

I fucking hate Dallas, but I got to say this game is a toss up, as much as I hate to say it, Dallas has just as good a chance of winning.

All I know is that Skins have been cursed for like the past 15 years, and I think D.C. needs this. When I was back in NOVA and D.C. last week, everyone was out full force in their Redskins gear, spirits were high.

Bless you Redskins fans, hopefully the golden child RG3 has got some miracles up his sleeve...

I'm an RG3 fan, so I'm pulling for them to win this one.

I'm also a Russel Wilson fan, however, and that makes things more difficult. Even if RG3 wins this one (which would pit the Skins up against the Seahawks in the wildcard), it would mean that one of my favorite QBs would have to go home next week.

Hopefully the Skins pull this out, and then I can be neutral for the Hawks-Skins wildcard game next week.

I am a RG3 fan also. BUT I am a big Seahawks fan. Like really they are my team after my ride or die Steelers, so i'm convinced Seattle will make it to the Super Bowl and a trip to Dallas will make that even more possible since it will be a dome and Romo is known for chocking in big games.

RG3 is obviously banged up as hell. I understand they need to stay true to thier playbook but pulling option stunts even as decoy plays is damn stupid right now.

Skin's Defence is all types of doo doo right now as well. But Romo is goofing up a lot of chances so you can say its even on that front.

Giants fan here and I'd prefer if neither team won. Though I have to say, I love what RGIII has done. Great kid and a pleasure to watch. A really likable superstar.

Though it has to be said, I'm looking forward to a basketball thread to get set up once the season actually begins. Long suffering Knick fan and season ticket holder who has been basking in these first two months.

And now it is over with Morris' touchdown. We'll see the Seahawks in Washington to take on the Skins next week.

I don't even care who wins that game-I love both teams. That both managed to make the playoffs in the first place is spectacular. We'll see the two best rookie QBs faceoff next week, and I'm excited.

Lifelong Seahawks fan here - I think we have a better team than Washington (especially our defense) just need to handle the pressure of being on the road in the playoffs.

Giants fan here. I hate RGIII, but like him as a person. I'm glad for the Redskins because, as a Mets fan, I know what it's like to have a team in the dumpster year in and year out. Barring anything crazy, the Skins should be good for a long time.

IQVX, I don't know how much of the Redskins you've seen this year, but I wouldn't put too much stock into how good your defense is against traditional offenses. Alfred Morris will wear out your front 7 while RGIII just makes them look silly.

I haven't followed the Seahawks or really any other NFL teams so I don't really know the score, from what I can tell looks like the Seahawks have a great QB of their own who could be a superstar in the league just like RG3. I'm also guessing they have a pretty good team because of their superior record, and I caught a bit of their recent game against the 49ers where they completely and utterly dominated.

The thing about the Redskins right now is that they have momentum, and the have an entire city and it's surrounding areas completely behind them 100%, plus the old school hall of famers pulling for them (Joe Gibbs, John Riggins, etc). I think these guys really believe in themselves, and can dig deep to pull it off, which is basically what I think happened against Dallas. Either way I'm sure it will a tough game and could go either way, I just hope the momentum will propel this team as far as it can go.

Seattle ranks 6th against the pass, 10th against the run. I'm not overly concerned about the scenario that you described unfolding in reality. The comparable styles I can think of are Cam Newton and Colin Kaepernick, who went 0-2 and managed to score 12 and 13 points against us, respectively. Brandon Browner also returns this week, and Richard Sherman will neutralize Garcon. Only concern for me is keeping Morris from busting long runs, which our D has struggled with this year, but has improved on recently. While I've only watched the prime-time games involving the Redskins this year, based on how you basically discredited our defense for no reason, I'm willing to bet you've seen even less of Seattle.

This is the thing with Romo. He's obviously talented, and he's so likeable - it's interesting to see how some in the media don't want to full-out rip him. They WANT him to do well. They quote his stats until they're blue in the face, but the problem with him has always been the throat-cutting mistakes. Tony will always save one of those interceptions for the most crucial drive of the game. He'll always put up numbers, but until he solves the clutch thing...

I'm not shitting on Seattle's D as much as I'm praising RGIII. The Giants destroyed Cam Newton. Griffin is on another level, and a lot of that comes from the fact that he has Morris. I think what hurts Seattle more than anything else is playing on the road.
