I think another tactic would be to put signs up on billboards at the uni campuses (assuming you are after that age group). You could even have them contact you via facebook if you are happy with that...

I think enrolling in a short spanish course at a uni would be a gold mine. I did that in Bogota, and I didn't capitalise as much as I should have. I visited the campus of EAFIT in Medellin, and that looked fantastic. I believe they also have a intercambio list that you can ask for if enrolled in their spanish course.... could be a great opportunity to get a lot of phone numbers... the great things with the uni enrolment is that you usually get full access of the facilities at a bargain price... even if you are only doing 2hrs a day, you could day game from dawn to dusk if you wanted....

Enrolling in a university in Latin America is a gold mine, doesn't matter where. I'm planning on doing that this fall in Brasil. I'll report the findings for sure.

I agree with Pepini...from the Argentines I've met here and from what I've heard from friends that traveled abroad, I def. wouldn't be going there to pick up women.

I wouldn't mind seeing the country and some of the sites, but Arg and Chilean women sound like a whole lot of work for very little reward.

Hey damok, which university/program did you use? I've been looking at the javeriana but they're telling me their advanced-level spanish classes often don't have enough students to open registration.

I enrolled in spanish classes with the following company:

which in Bogota is at an upmarket university in the far north of Bogota. I can't remember the uni name, nor can I find it on the site. But it was a great place. I also did a family stay there - and picked up the daughter (23). No shit, very good story

I also studied with them in Cartagena. It is a dedicated school, ie. not in a uni. They also have salsa classes and visits. All in all good fun.

The one I didn't do, but am super keen to next time im in Colombia is EAFIT in Medellin (http://www.eafit.edu.co/EafitCn/Idiomas/...ndex.htm). I visited a friend in the campus (bloody difficult to do with the security there), and it again is an upmarket uni. They have a intercambio list of students that want to practise English - this would be brilliant I think. Heaps of gringoes where staying at my hostel (Casa Kiwi) and studying there.

Update on this. I only had about 4-5 girls add me on facebook (compare this to my previous ads where I received 70+ emails). One of them looked pretty good so I hit her up. She seemed excited then started changing her mind and flaking out. She's a 21 y/o Argentine so I'm not too surprised..


I think for my next one I may try Roosh's fascinating idea to hire a hot girl to be all over me at the club.

Living in Argentina is doing wonders for my "thinking outside the box" game.
