There is always a black swan threat to the knowledge out there, as authors get doxed or some thing else forces them to shut down their blogs.

Is anyone gathering the knowledge in case such a calamity were to happen?

And how do you grab an entire blog or a forum? Is there software for that?

I have remote server backups of both the forum and blog. If something catastrophic happens, I'd lose a few days of data at most.

Even if I die, the server would be up for a couple more months while my credit cards remain functioning. By then I'm sure you can back everything up.

I don't see a situation where I'd pull the plug without warning. My blog is not a hobby anymore where I can just say "fuck it" and move on.

Too many blogs have gone down recently. I've been copying and pasting the text off Heartiste, VK's empire of dirt, and Nexxtlevelup. I've lost too many chances with In Mala Fide, Early Roissy. Alpha Persona, and a few others. Roosh Im not too worried about since this blog is his life. There should be more than one person doing the archiving in case of something serious going down. Perhaps there can be some sort of commitee for this on the RVF?
