With summer approaching, a lot of girls in the city I live in tend to hang out at pools - reading books, tanning, etc.

These are usually pools at apartments, especially the college apartments.

I was wondering if anybody had any tips for gaming at the pool? Any of these game bloggers have any posts on the subject?

I've never really done much pool side pick up, outside of actual pool parties, but I'm talking about just a relaxed summer day where a chick is chilling with her dog, reading a book and tanning.

I feel like it's definitely something worth pursuing...

No real solid advice here, kind of stating the obvious, but be in the best shape you can be, try to get a base tan going early on, and bust out the sick board shorts. Also, I don't think you can go wrong with having a 6-pack of some good beer, or a nice joint to offer to share with some fine honeys, as long as you're pool isn't too uptight/conservative with the rules. Finally you can always use the typical lines, like asking what book they are reading, how long they've been living there, etc.

That line works with making friends with just about anyone and for any purpose. I'm not an advocate of being a pothead, but occasionally smoking weed has it's place.

Must be something more intelligent that dope-raping her FFS... what about standard game, like asking her opinion about some stuff, could be anything, the more engaging the better and then progress from there...
