Hypothesis: feminism (while contributing) is not the primary cause for the hideous behavior of American women in 2012. Obesity is. (Also there is something specifically millennial - I am a proto-genx guy - about the condition so well described on his forum, but that is for another day).

Example. Fat females are are the quickest to hate on men, with all ideological baggage of feminism.

I know a woman who is gen y, beginning to hit the wall, but holding up pretty well. People would talk about how she was hot. I couldn't see past the undertones of condescending bitterness, negativity.

She lost 15 to 20 pounds and looks great. She looks healthy.

Guess what the undertone is gone. She is forceful, assertive and brings a no nonsense attitude, that is actually business focused. But she seems genuinely happy and I think it begins with feeling good and feeling attractive. It is extremely important to women.

My Ukrainian girlfriend told me... as she often does about these things... "a woman is happy to be desired... we are vain and fragile... everyone knows that..."

I am sure she is not as nurturing and balanced as my hot EE girlfriend, but she is definitely easier to be around. A lot of so-called contemporary feminist blather (Jezebel) is the rationalization of unhappy fat chicks and has nothing to do with say truly supporting women (that would need to include supporting motherhood AND being a wife) or even self-actualization.

Not only is obesity effecting female humans, it is also effecting dogs. Im visiting family and they have let my dog become obese. She doesnt even listen to me anymore. I tell her to come and she stays. The only way i can get her to sit next to me is if i have food in my hand

I lost 30 pounds a few months ago. I can confirm the simple change that 30 pounds can bring, let alone the 80+ that most Americans need to lose. I am less stubborn, more energetic, more positive, and even more empathetic (no, really). Imagine what losing 30 pounds would do to a creature nearly entirely comprised of estrogen.

Fat women are used to being starved for male attention. They want to mate and spend time in the presence of an attractive male as much as their non-walrus sisters, but most men, even betas or omegas, won't give them the time of day in anything more than a purely platonic way. So, they get resentful, blame it on men, and become bitches and cockblocks. The ridiculous 'equality' mantra that's been de rigeur and shoved down everyone's throats for the past couple hundred years is finally being applied in practice, since the '60s cultural revolution, which means the fattie will never say 'wait, maybe I should just lose weight.' Society tells her everyone has an obligation to 'accept her as she is,' and, by golly, they better do so. In the 21st century, why shouldn't she be able to gorge herself on junk food and still date a male model, who worships her just for being a woman?

Gotta love the entitlement mentality...

I have a counter-hypothesis:

A certain generation of parents no longer felt the need to instill character, morality, restraint and other values in their children. (Feminists make up a large chunk of this bloc.)
"Be yourself" trumped all.

["Be yourself" might as well be the opposite of "Better yourself". The former is what women tell themselves; the latter, men.]

These children are now adults.
Fat hosebeasts never nurtured their own character, let alone tried to better themselves physically or otherwise. Miserable, they project their own neuroses.
Of course, at the other end of the spectrum, the once-hot chick who neither cultivated anything outside of their looks, is now old and leathery, but still can't hold a conversation. Maybe she is a cougar. Maybe she has an ex paying alimony.
The fatty is vocal about Those Evil Men because she has nothing to lose.
The bottle-blonde cougar in the animal-print stretch pants is has the same contempt, but is probably more silent, since she wants to play her cards right.

It's sounds pretty basic, but so much goes back to the parenting, which trumps bad culture/media/schools/food/peers/etc.
Not that it's an excuse. Somebody (here?) once said that getting over a dysfunctional childhood is part of becoming a responsible adult.

I think you nailed one of the root causes of obesity. A common EE view on American obesity: how can mother's let their children become so fat. It is seen foremost as a an abdication of parental responsibility. Keep in mind that this is a culture that still thinks that the role of women is to nurture and is responsible for the health and well-being of the family.

This role was abdicated to American food industrial complex and short-order cooks. A loving parent would never prepare from scratch the chemical and hormone laden garbage American's eat.

Millennials are the first generation raised primarily in this environment. In America it is takes a lot of willpower and resources to avoid this. It takes effort. Past lifestyles were healthier. If a woman cooked with the ingredients in contemporary processed foods, she would have been considered a monster.

I would have to respectfully disagree, since Feminism was the main driver behind American women refusing to learn how to cook and refusing to make the necessary sacrifices in general to cook for their children. Teaching children at a young age the necessity of high vegetable fiber, high lean protein, low carb meals is the the foundation of a society of slender women. Men are hard coded to appreciate a cooked meal from a woman because it signals that she will cook for her kids.

Fat actually doesn't matter that much as long as it is unsaturated. Even then, it usually just causes heart disease and not fattiness.

Incorrect. The myth of the evils of saturated fat has been debunked.
Bad fats are hydrogenated oils, industrial processed products such as canola oil and vegetable oil, and any fats which have gone rancid (oxydised) or been overheated (avoid deep fried foods for this reason).

Good fats are those in grass-fed organic meats, fatty fish, butter, coconut oil, and avocado and olive oil provided it hasn't been overheated.

That's good news. I'll be frying my next filet mignon in butter guilt free. Though I do think the rest of my point stands, especially the problem with simple carbs.

You forgot eggs.. Diet plenty of good fats = #1 health booster for men. Probably women too. Certainly can't be bad.

So my hope is that fat girls simply won't be able to have as many kids as the non-fat, but nah.. slim girls are smarter and have the career route as an option. And fuck you, medical technologies. Been said a million times, but NEVER give a fat girl any attention. That's about the only thing you can do.
