All the reactions to these recent shootings really got me thinking this.

People just jumping to conclusions, blaming this group, blaming that group, blaming video games, blaming introverts, etc. Here's a good article on it:

At first, my reaction was like "why do responses to these shootings have to be politically charged BS?"

But then I realized that the reactions to shootings aren't really different from anything else. Everybody insists on turning everything into some angle for their stupid agenda.

Like, WTF is going on here?

Why are people in the West so completely shitty and selfish about EVERYTHING? It's like, inhuman. People don't even seem like people anymore. Fuck.

People decide how to react based on their information set - which is of course - limited and unuanced due to the nature of modern media.

If you think Westerners are bad, look at what happens in Middle Eastern countries. Flag burning, effigy burning, riots, murder, bombings.

Westerners are pretty docile. Which is a good thing, overall, I'd say.

I'm curious as to how the Chinese are when not tied down by a powerful security apparatus

On a side note, that jessica o'brien girl is a keeper. She thought he had just went on a mass shooting spree at an elementary school and the first thing she asks him is if he needs any help going on the lam and avoiding the law.
I don't need to know anything about her. I'd marry her.
