Nice find. I also heard that British women during WW2 were notoriously slutty, and there was a lot written about it.

Something about war makes girls think, "We might not be here tomorrow, better fuck today!"

In Commonwealth countries Australia, NZ and Britiain there were often confrontations between locals and Americans. The Americans were better paid and when they were based in other countries often took advantage while, Commonwealth soldiers had been overseas. A lot of resentment resulted. The Battle of Brisbane is one example, it happened a lot, local women got gifts from cashed up Americans.

I watched some of "Jarhead" yesterday, and there's a great scene in the movie that illustrates this. A soldier's wife sent him what he thought was a motion picture for him and his buddies to watch, but it was a tape of her fucking another dude as a way of spitting in his face.
