I'm very familiar with this area near the Time Warner building (Columbus Circle). Hung out with RVF member Eros International there once and grabbed lunch at the Whole Foods there. The killer has to be a professional.

Its crazy that this happened in broad daylight especially in a city like NYC that has really curtailed gun crime. I saw this yesterday and apparently the dude killed had 20 prior arrests including a lot of drug offenses. I think the authorities are working that angle and they said that its most likely drug related. Even more crazy was the fact that dude was a law student.

It's insane that someone can be assassinated just like that in the most public place in the world during broad daylight. WTF. Car bombs, I'd understand. Knifing at night, poison, elevator killing... but this? WTF.
